Looks like Pacqueta is off

"And who can blame him. Only rumours at present, but they're pretty consistent, coming from a number of sources. It should also mean the end of Moyes, which is some consolation of losing such a talent. If true, and I'm sure it is, we need to replace Moyes now, not at the end of the season, so a new manager can start planning the rebuild we so desperately need, with such an aged and uninspiring squad. Come on, Mr Potter, you know you want to!"

"You're probably right Jim79. Thing is we will need a new CB, RB, LB, CF and LW before any players leave. If our four top players go that is 9 of our current squad which is the smallest in PL. WE need a lot of cash..."

"Willtell, where you getting an extra £100m+ from? you honestly believe that if we shifted that lot for anywhere near £275m that our board would chuck any money on top to spend? No chance, just look at this year with the proceeds of Rice and Scamacca. On the surface we looked to have spent some serious money this last summer but on closer inspection you'll see we spent largely what we brought in on player sales and no more so thats a year of net zero spent, especially when you chuck on top Fornals and Benny now out the door. If we sold all our prized Jewells whoever has their hands on the purse strings will be lucky to get that amount to reinvest but you can forget about any extra bunce on top."

It was reported just before AFCON Huffers. There were serious questions aired on C&H about him not wanting to play games before the tournament call up.

Is Aguerd looking for a way out? Does he need a hand?

"We all expected Paqueta to go as there's n £85m buy out clause that only this investigation into illegal betting has stopped. An irony would be if Paqueta decided not to go to Man City over their illegal financial transactions hanging over them but, I digress. For me the dithering in the WH boardroom is what's making things worse. I reckon all of our better players are now looking at a way out including Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen and Aguerd as well as Steidten. How much for that lot? £275m? Anyone have faith that Moyes and Sullivan would buy a good team with another £100+m on top?"

"It all seems a bit ""King's Shilling"" with our lot. Someone puts a lowball price on a player that is high enough to turn our board' heads and that player is sold, whatever threat that has to the (success of the) team; after all, footballers are 10 a penny, innit, and we have an academy knocking them out all the time."

"Sydney_Iron 5:04 Fri Feb 16 Listen to 'my mate's a footballer' on BBC sounds to see how your allegiances change when your pal plays for another team and you'll see that she's never said anything about HER allegiances have changed. Nobody in that boardroom seems to give a fuck about our club, our religion, just how much money they can milk from us saps, the paying punters As you are in Sydney I would suggest that you don't have the full picture either. Sitting a row from the posh seats and watching the amount of cunts on their camera phones recording the Arsenal team celebrating with their fans at the end of the game is pretty fucking galling and just added insult to injury. The club of course don't give a shit and would rather have them there paying top dough than us dyed in the wool Cockneys who might swear and be genuinely unpleasant anyway. It feels like our West Ham is dead and I should fuck off and do something else a little more positive with my weekends."

"Not defending Brady in most fronts but being an Arsenal fan is hardly something to get upset about, i bet most of our playing, coaching and management grew up supporting other teams, and its maybe the same at EVERY club in the PL. Pretty sure as an example that ""Arry"" was an Arsenal fan as well, Ange at Spurs has made no secret he grew up being a massive Liverpool fan. In essence who club employees and players grew up supporting mean fuck all, so unless she was jumping around the boardroom chucking cheese and crackers in the air with delight this is ridiculous thing to bring up. In my humble opinion of course!"

"Isn't anyone else sickened that our vice chairman, an Arsenal fan, would have secretly loved that shit show last Sunday? It's starting to defy logic that we put up with this shit, in the same way that Parliament hasn't been burned to the ground on the COVID enquiry alone. I'm literally mystified at the people of 'Great' Britain's lack of fight or even common sense."

"I don't know where these rumours are from because I refuse to engage in the clickbait ridden NewsNow, but if he's off I'm gutted. A glimpse of our holy trinity of him, Bowen and Mo is one of those things that make me hate the upstairs cunts so much. We seem to get SO near and then spunk it. Ashton and Bellamy spring to mind. We've gone from being a shitty team playing in the LDV cup after a great run and finding ourselves at Wembley in front of a silly amount of supporters to a team that deserves a crowd of 65000 watching them play good football week in, week out and back again. Someone in charge, maybe three, need to go, the sooner the better."

"This is hardly news Alfs, if not for the betting charges he would be at Man City, i know a few of the YouTube channels have story's about it but i think its juts a slow news day and an angle to have a pop at the club and Moyes."
