When you were once running around over the park as a kid with jumpers for goalposts and you're now leading your country out at Wembley at 25 that is a fucking big deal and only a very tiny percentage of young hopefuls make it. A lot of blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice have got him to this point, it don't do itself that's for sure. Suspect he will have to wait a while to become perm captain as Kane will play to at least the next world cup and then any new manager may even prefer Bellingham as skipper."
