Understand DeZerbi was told there will be no change in Brightons model of selling their best players for big money & replacing with promising cheap players Mitoma seemed to miss most of the late season. In cotton wool ahead of a sale? The centre forward Ferguson will attract a lot of interest … another one who hasn’t played much lately

"I strongly expect that De Zebri, having left a club that exceeded expectations, will now take over at a club where the objective will be to live up to expectations."

"not sad at all. being such a brilliant manager, he should be first in line for any job opening. brighton would be mad not to employ his ground-breaking methods ?üòÇ"

"ludo21 7:20 Sat May 18 Re: De Zebri leaves Brighton Brighton have had a worse 2024 than us Not sure that's true, is it? Think they've earned 21 points in 2024 versus our 19?"

"Isn't Motta lined up for Juventus? Agree about McKenna, would be a real snidey move and a real kick in the nuts for the tractor boys. I can't see Potter going back, I would think they have both moved on from each other, stranger things have happened though."

Shouldn’t Brighton be told how disgraceful it is that they have forced him out & to be careful what they wish for? If they appoint someone quickly so have been talking to other managers isn’t that disrespectful to DeZerbi & everyone hopes they get relegated? Sounds like DeZerbi is off to one of the big Italian clubs probably Juve Would hope McKenna would stay at Ipswich having promoted them rather than leave for someone like Brighton …. Man U or Tottenham you could understand Maybe Potter could go back to Brighton with his tail between his legs … & tens of millions of Chelsea cash in his pocket

"You would think Brighton will have someone lined up for sure, the war criminal has been crying for months now that he's too good for them, so they must have known he was offski."

"Surely having finished potentially no more than 1 point above Brighton, his lord and saviour David Moyesiah would be top of an up and coming club like Brighton’s list for a new manager? If not why not Moyes’ boys?"

Jaan. He had a £12 million buyout. This is the new West Ham. (According to most You Tuber’s.?) But it’s still Sullivan who signs off on it. Never would happen. Even in a Marvel Multiverse.!

"Understand Brighton, Ipswich , Norwich, Man Utd & Bayern all have representatives outside Moyes house shouting through his letterbox waving contracts & brown paper bags full of READIES It’s mayhem!"

Surely Ipswich will be all over Moyes should Mckenna go to Brighton.

"Would have taken him over Lopetegui. Mind you, I'd have taken McKenna over Lopetegui too."

Seems a bit strange if he is going to get a top job elsewhere as Brighton stand to lose out on £12m in compensation if it's by mutual consent. Unless maybe compensation has actually been agreed but the club he's going to doesn't want to announce it yet.

"Well that didn't take long to effectively rule out the ""Cup winning, 3 seasons in Europe"" Moyes. It's a fucking shock, I tell ya. And for a Championship winning manager too. Brighton should definitely be careful for what they're wishing for as relegation could well beckon now."

"Not a shock is it, assume they have announced this today so he can get a send off tomorrow. As well as BM I believe the Milan job is still up for grabs. No doubt the media, Talksport etc will be demanding Moyes is INSTALLED there immediately, but Tony Bloom is no fool and will know he'd rather give the gig to his mother in law."

"After being a Cup winner and 3 consecutive seasons in Europe and, Moyes has to be nailed on for the Brighton job now. They'd be mental to overlook him.."
