"Virtue signalling alert I always look out for the clubs at whose grounds I was lucky enough to have played; Maldon and Tiptree, Bemerton Heath Harlequins and Great Wakering are all still in the hat with Concord yet to join them."

I can honestly say that in 1972 I played and won 1-0 at Wembley which sounds impressive until I admit that it was Wembley Town :)

"My local team was Hoddesdon Town FC, they won the first ever FA Vase which was in 1975, so two winning trips to Wembley for me in that year."

"Blimey didn't realise the FA started so early these days. Funny enough I have been clearing out my loft and I came across an old programme for Kingstonian v Grays Athletic - Preliminary Round of 1973-74 FA Cup. September 1st 1973, Don't remember playing any rounds before this back then. I remember losing in this one though!"

"Manuel It's a very different vibe to the PL More of a social community thing in most cases. You can sit or stand where you want and get up close to the action, for lower leagues you can even have a beer whilst watching and mingle with the players and management in the bar after. Most non league clubs rely on income generated by fans as every penny generated is put into playing budgets and ground improvements. Fans often volunteer for duties around the ground and sponsor players kits etc. In recent years many fans have defected to non league from the bigger clubs as they have become increasingly disillusioned and priced out of the game. As for the playing side the quality is never going to be fantastic but a lot of the teams now try to play out from the back as is the trend so the the football isn't always hooofball. A lot of the NL teams and the league below are made up of ex PL or championship academy and under 23 players who have been released and are looking to get back into full time football as well as loan players from these clubs sent to toughen them up in men's football which can be quite a culture shock for many. Occasionally you get real top players dropping down to non league rather than just hanging up there boots Glen Little was one such player who was nominated for best non league goal ever. His legs had gone but brain and skill level on another level when I watched him at Wealdstone. I have always watched West ham and gone to non league but like I say two very different experiences with a huge difference in quality but both very enjoyable for the most part."

"Strodds - I've noticed you've said that a good few times and I can kind of see the appeal but it doesn't work for me. I've done it a few times, non/lower league, but was just bored, also noted the majority of the fans were just fucking around and taking the piss out of some of the players i.e not taking it seriously, so probably bored also."

Amersham through to the next round following promotion Leverstock green likewise Clubs from my youth the reformed Edgware and Kingsbury town drew and Wembley lost. I love a bit of non league / fa cup and visiting new grounds I was at Wealdstone v Hemel friendly yesterday but had I realised earlier it was fa cup would of probably gone to Amersham or one of the others.

Are you still allowed to draw in the FA Cup?
