"OS West Ham United complete signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka West Ham United is delighted to announce the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The right-back, 26, joins the Hammers from Manchester United on a seven-year contract for an undisclosed fee. The Londoner moves to London Stadium after making 190 appearances for the Red Devils across five seasons, during which he developed into one of the best one-on-one defenders in the Premier League, won the FA Cup, EFL Cup and started a UEFA Europa League final. The Crystal Palace Academy graduate has been a Premier League regular since the age of 19, appeared 35 times in European competitions and been capped by England at Under-21 level. Now, he will continue his career in his home city. “It was a no brainer for me to join West Ham – I’m excited and happy to be here,” said the 26-year-old, who will wear the No29 shirt. “It’s an amazing feeling to be back in London, and I’m excited for what’s coming. I was born here, so I know the ins and outs of London, which plays a big part in my life, so to be back playing in this city means a lot to me. “I’m happy to be here, am grateful for the warm welcome, and I am excited to be playing for the Club and will give it my all. “I can’t wait to get on the pitch, get to know the players, and push on from there. I see a team that is in it together, that will push each other to win, and a group that has got each others' backs through thick and thin, so being part of that and having that insurance helps a lot when you are surrounded by a good squad.” Obi-Wan spacer"

Not that there's been much competition over the years, but he must surely be the best right back we've had in the prem era?
Cracking player. Can't wait to see what he can do if or when we start dominating games. His distribution is top drawer.

I'll be honest every time I saw him play for Man U he looked pants. Especially looking at his price tag. However he's surprised me as being a very good signing.
We all get it wrong sometimes, fella.
A Sullivan signing wasn't it?
A Nobes signing

I'm delighted with AWB. A proper dude and gives it 100% good or bad he shows up. I never understood the Man U thing about he can't attack...he was great in his one and a bit season at Palace. HOTY and it's only January.
Top fella in my book.
I fink he's the kind of fella that lacks confidence in himself ...
Hopefully Potter will bring out the best in him...good signs so far.

Reminds me of one of those old fashioned buccaneering full backs you used to get, even when not playing full back, if only he had a rasping shot on him.
Highly entertaining and effective when used properly/on his game.
Like Tim Breaker
Breaker had the turning circle of a panzer tiger II tank
one of our better players at the time.

A top-five player in his position in this league.
Exactly the sort of quality we want and need.
Excellent signing.

The media playing their part in playing down his abilities and because he plays for us now. But he should be called up because as a defender for his position, there isn't too many better.
I can't wait to see him and Bowen link up in a Potter team.

Been brilliant, as others have said not sure where this "he can't attack" crtticism comes from as he can whip a ball in, take players on and has good technical ability and is a very good defender. Surprised he hasn't been called uo internationally. Certainly a better defender than Trent Arnold.

I'd like to know who really wanted him here? The narrative has been Sullivan because of the Salthouse connection but I wonder whether it was the manager that really wanted him here having previously chased him at his previous Club as well. Maybe Sullivan shouldn't be taking any credit for him other than being an easier broker of the deal. The boy is in line for Hammer of the Tear competing Soucek for it.

He's been consistent all season long. A very good signing whoever decided on bringing him here.
Absolutely 100% consistent, should be the first name on the team sheet.

Probably one of the best signings of any made during the last window. He's attitude and performances have been nothing short of excellent. Bet Man U are kicking themselves they let him go. Has to worth double what we paid at a minimum.
