Away games by train

Ever missed the start of a game recently as its chaotic of late. So many reasons a train can be cancelled or delayed these days.

I've just seen that someone who booked with Lner couldn't board the service as it was packed as Lner gave ticket acceptance to Grand Central passengers who earlier or later train was cancelled.
This is an everyday occurrence
Be warned there are many other issues that can make your expensive journey a nightmare

Basically this. Everything has changed, for the worse not better. Used to call up West Ham for my away ticket or fax the form with client ref when on sale, get ticket, book Apex fares on train and had a cracking day/weekend. Ticket and rail fare about £60 now I'd imagine, as an example away ticket £25 (is it still capped?) And rail fare about £150 and that's if the fucking train gets there

It's rather ironic, really, as the modern game, as we know it, couldn't have come into existence without the development of the railways.
