I seem to recall that they had a club house facing the railway a few hundred yards south of Eastleigh station, but this was back in the late 80s, early 90s.

Probably more dangerous now on their Zimmer frames than they ever were. Less noisy as well.

Stink of oil engine oil . Although I did read a book called Chopper in my youth which was quite good .

Famously they officially have no apostrophe between the L and the S of Hells.

I believe the official stance when asked about this is 'we know and we don't care'.

Tell today’s yoot the Rolling Stones story and sometimes they even accept it could have happened. Not often though.

They have/had a clubhouse at Hackney Road.

Once saw four of them in a pub when I was a student up north having some drinks. Classic hell's angel look and not to be trifled with. But no motorbikes outside which seemed weird.

When they left I looked out of the window and all four of them squeezed into a Ford Fiesta or similar sized car and pootled off into it. Just seemed very bizarre.

They had a chapter in Slough, not sure if they're there any more.

They only became a chapter after BLACK JOHN died.

Oddly enough a load of them went past me on the m4 at Slough about half an hour ago. That's what made me think about it. There are an intriguing bunch of people
