Surprised there’s no thread on this. Bit of an odd one

In this country, it is good from time to time to kill a CEO to encourage the others.

His manifesto. Apparently there are fake ones circulating but this came via Katherine Dee’s substack and she claims this the legit version. She’s usually quite reliable.
https://open.substack.com/pub/kenklippe ... medium=ios
She claims most of the MSM has it but are choosing not to publish it:
“To the Feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country. To save you a lengthy investigation, I state plainly that I wasn't working with anyone. This was fairly trivial: some elementary social engineering, basic CAD, a lot of patience. The spiral notebook, if present, has some straggling notes and To Do lists that illuminate the gist of it. My tech is pretty locked down because I work in engineering so probably not much info there. I do apologize for any strife of traumas but it had to be done. Frankly, these parasites simply had it coming. A reminder: the US has the #1 most expensive healthcare system in the world, yet we rank roughly #42 in life expectancy. United is the [indecipherable] largest company in the US by market cap, behind only Apple, Google, Walmart. It has grown and grown, but as our life expectancy? No the reality is, these [indecipherable] have simply gotten too powerful, and they continue to abuse our country for immense profit because the American public has allwed them to get away with it. Obviously the problem is more complex, but I do not have space, and frankly I do not pretend to be the most qualified person to lay out the full argument. But many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain. It is not an issue of awareness at this point, but clearly power games at play. Evidently I am the first to face it with such brutal honesty.”

Kind of surprised he got caught so quick. Seems to be a massive hero to a lot of Americans. Half of them when the police were trying to track him down -

For the 3 years I've been working very closely with some the largest Biopharm brands in the world. It's meant that I've been able to understand much more about how the industry works.
My takeaway away from this experience is that I'll do my best to make sure none of my family or I go anywhere near the preventative drugs they promote as a treatment for modern day illnesses.

We have some of the worse cancer survival rates in the UK.
Anything serious, then I'd prefer to be cared for over there. You can't put a cost on your life.

On the other hand, the care when you do get it tends to be top notch.
The only real good thing about the NHS is that you're not panicking about how much it's going to cost you as you've been carted off to hospital. The level of care you get with the NHS is shit.
Quite a few jobs in the USA have health plans with your job nowadays.
To be fair I had a scare recently and was rushed through on an NHS two week pathway. Thankfully it's a benign issue but it was looked into swiftly and I found the care excellent. Sure not everyone is as lucky and I am sure it depends on which local trust but I'm very appreciative of the NHS speedy and thorough response and suspect it would have cost me thousands in the US.

I can still be hit or miss here. God help you if you live in a rural area. If a company has over 15 employees (I think it's that number), they are required to provide a health insurance option for full-time employees, but a lot of times it's $500/mo, plus deductible around $1,500, plus co-pays and even after the deductible you're still paying 20-25% of the bill. It's not until after you're about $10k out of pocket on a year before health insurance picks up the full tab, and then everything starts over the next year. Also, there's a distinction between in-network and out-of-network doctors/providers (to the extent a plan will even cover out-of-network) for purposes of deductible and out of pocket max, and virtually no mental health providers are in-network.
On top of that, Americans are less healthy, have lower life expectancy, and pay more for the exact same services and procedures than individuals in other western countries. Medical debt is also the leading cause of personal bankruptcy in the US.

There's a MEME that flies about every now and then that sums it up well.
I need healthcare - USA - "That will be $58k"
I need healthcare - UK - "I can help you in 38 months"
I need healthcare - Canada - "Kill yourself"

Yeah mine did but if you find yourself out of work it gets a bit dicey, although theoretically you can get insurance for a while when out of work.

American health insurance is the main thing stopping me from moving there (er indoors is American).
It's about $500 a month, and even then cunts like Thompson try to find ways of not paying out or paying for surgery, so loads of people who've fully paid health insurance for years die unnecessarily because the shareholders are deemed more important.
Disgraceful.

from the BBC:
A three-page handwritten document found on his possession suggested he harboured "ill will towards corporate America", said officials.
Investigators say the words "deny", "defend" and "depose" were written on shell casings found at the scene of Mr Thompson's murder.
Officials believe this could be a reference to what critics call the "three Ds of insurance" - tactics used by insurance companies to reject payment claims by patients in America's complicated healthcare system.

A coward. The CEO didn't deserve to go like that, regardless. Weird cսnt will have the rest of his life behind a door to have a think about what he did.

Mafia hit?
Given the state of healthcare in the USA there don’t appear to be many tears shed for the exec getting a bullet
Understand his company rejects 30% of healthcare claims

Apparently highly educated and from a wealthy family. Admired the unabomber's manifesto. Looks a bit gay though.
