David Moyes

I see Moyes has ‘set up his team to old man’ their way through another game and get a result.

Top Top manager who should still be managing West Ham. Instead we had 2 inferior managers.

Absolute shambles!

Moyes didn’t save us either time.
Why even try to deny it?

Bizarre.

How do you ‘save’ a team that isn’t and never had been in the bottom 3?
Maybe ask your mate at Kappa…..

Thanks for proving what an idiot you are.
 - Moyes didn’t save us either time.
 - We weren’t punching above our weight, somewhere around 7th to 9th is exactly where we should be.
- the club absolutely does have global reach

Very possible, but still think good few teams worse than us and things will eventually pick up
Agreed, we'd go down if Bowen wasn't here or got injured for significant time. Well, the same thing would have happened under Moyes had Bowen not been here and was also extremely lucky to manage us whilst Rice rose through the ranks thanks to other managers first nursing him in to the Midfield.

So when you say be careful what you wish for with regards to Moyes, we would have already been relegated had it not been for them just as we would under Potter. I'm afraid it's a load of bollocks to say be careful for what we wish for had Moyes only stayed. Nothing would have changed, it would have been the same dogshit situation and a myth peddles by the ignorant punditry media class who lazily say the same without any real context that's true to what's been happening.

And thank the Footablling Gods we did have Rice and Bowen to rely on, otherwise we would have been Championship shite by now.

Thank fuck also that Moyes and his shocking style of Football is also long gone when he had an embarrassment of riches to choose from to get us playing decent attacking Football.

I think if Moyes stayed the football would have been dire but we would never have gone down

Im more pissed off than anyone else because l had really long day getting up to Wolves (M1 closed) and tiresome pissed off journey back!

22/23 season we were only 6 points from the drop and that was with Bowen and Rice playing all the time. That was the difference between us staying up or going down. No shadow of doubt in mind.

l don't think we will go down, but if we did ill still go
I'm well entitled to quote be careful what you wish for as l said it before Moyes left as was very fearful the club would go backwards and l blame the owners for that
you're also supporting the owners of the club.
and you're also entitled to spout what ever spastic ideas pop into your tiny brain whenever you want......... but dont get all "i'm a better supporter than you" when someone points out how stupid your point is.
Typical Eyetie defeatist attitude
you should avoid using words you dont understand joyo son.............. i know that doesnt leave you with many options though.

being able to look at a managers performance and spot that its shit isn't defeatist - it's just normal behaviour for anyone over the age of about 7.
predicting a 10th placed finish doesn't mean you have a positive outlook, it just means you're stupid.

I don’t (and won’t) endorse that stadium or the owners by giving them my money. You can blindly keep giving them your money if you like.

now tell me what that has to do with David Moyes, and spastics like you parroting ‘be careful what you wish for’?

When he finished 10th with 52 points you mean?

remember when West Ham wore that new kappa shirt?

It was Roberto that done him and couldn't be patient to wait for Fabianski to return and get back up to speed, Fabianski being Pellegrinis big money Keeper signing. Roberto was on him (or more the point Husillos) and should have got better out of him but that's what it boiled down too in the end. Even Pellegrini could get a tune out of Martins boy at a famous Stamford Bridge win. Cue back to Moyes which Sullivan couldn't wait to get back in.

John Drake » 27 Aug 2025 01:47The best of Moyes at West Ham was when he had Alan Irvine beside him. Once Irvine left it went to pieces.

Together they will probably do a decent job at Everton

Absolutely spot on, the stats at West Ham back that up. Irvine went part time in season 2 and then left to go back "up North" as his family were all there.  We fell away in the league after that. Was not overnight, these things are gradual, bit like Taylor and Clough.  Cloughy never got the same success without his right hand man.
