I was reading one of their forums the other day, they were slaughtering us saying how pathetic we were setting up like that, even criticised us cause Bowen had to come back and block a shot, one called us block shot FC... Yeah right we should go there and let them run right through us, don't defend as a team.. And definitely mustn't block their shots... How dare we come to theirs with our vastly cheaper squad and not play all out attacking football.

Loved beating them again..

If a 36 year old Cresswell (who's a left back) ends up filing in at centreback again next season, then we would have failed miserably again in the transfer market.

That game suited him as we were so deep and didn't really get up the pitch much. There was no room in behind for them to exploit nor did they really have a front line capable of causing much damage anyway.

Next season we need to upgrade that position, Aguerd could be the solution or go into the market for another Lefty CB. Cresswell there is not the answer against most teams going forward. No room for sentiment if we are going to kick on in this new formation.

Agree. This season was his "thank you for your service" bonus season. Him antonio and ings need to go and be replaced by longer term prospects. Ogbonna got himself a contract at Watford, so they can do similar if they want to play on.

Sure, let's not want to replace a 1 goal in 4 player with one of the most prolific players in World football.

Idiots.

I dunno. he was the epitome of an entitled Arsenal fan for me. Made one or two decent points amongst a load of hot air but some of that stuff he was saying was so silly and knee jerk- actually he'd fit in quite well on here. :)
So much fucking wailing and gnashing of teeth and slagging off his whole club and team from top to bottom when actually their problems are much more focused and simple to pinpoint. No striker and injuries. He also totally failed to address their discipline problems which as was pointed out on MOTD have cost them 10 points this season. They aren't an embarrassment. No upgrade on Xhaka- please....
They have some fantastic individual players at that club. Tactically a bit off in the same way Man City are this season, but without silly sendings off and with a proper centre forward they are right up there with Liverpool.

Also he clearly couldn't admit we played well and deserved to win. Fair play to the host for correcting him on that because he just wanted to do the lazy big club thing of dismissing us totally from the equation and making it 100% about them.

The bloke with the glasses, you can see what he's trying to say about a goalscorer but he's expressing it in the most retarded way possible. Everything else from then is just the utter drivel of someone who's had three too many at half time and he gets absolutely slaughtered. But the other bloke is a proper cսnt.
All fair points.

In short, in comparison to us, they don't even know how lucky they are with all the stuff that club has won in the last 25 years. So they can all just fuck off and stop crying.
Absolutely. Not just what they they have won but all the hero's that they have from Adams, Parlour, Rocastle, Brady, Merson, to Bergkamp, Vierra, Seaman, Wright, Henry, Pires, Petit, Overmars, etc. Cunts to a man.

Let's be honest, the goal we scored was great - But from a defensive view it was poor. Rice is tracking Bowen and he glances at him once, twice, three times, four times and even a fifth time - But he makes literally no adjustment to get close to Bowen and then, when cross comes in, he doesn't even jump to try and head it clear. He obviously had his West Ham vest under his Arsenal shirt.

Hahaha! Cheers. He just wound me up with his 'we deserve trophies' but then 'all our players and manager are shit' to follow it up. I get it's frustrating to keep finishing second and not really pick up any cups but this is the best they've been for a generation, really. He was bang on having a go at the mental old fella though. When trying to make a point about 'success', fuck knows what he was trying to say. Of course anyone who hasn't seen a league title for years would take a load of boring 1-0s on the way. We even said it before the Conference final. We'll take a dire performance if it ends with us scoring one more goal than the opposition. (Which is actually what we got in the end- and I'm not complaining!)

In short, in comparison to us, they don't even know how lucky they are with all the stuff that club has won in the last 25 years. So they can all just fuck off and stop crying.

Hunting down other clubs forums and YT stations is not something that I would do, but that was funny and tragic at the same time. ''Go and fucking retire then''

Strange bunch Arsenal fans, we are quite demanding, but they insist on success, second is failure. We worshipped Rice, they hate the cսnt, that is some shift. I wonder if he is beginning to regret going there. Arteta will come under pressure now.

Surely there must be times when Arsenal TV go 'nah, let's not put that up, we all look like cunts'.

Apparently not!

I know Cresswell doesn't have the legs anymore but we really miss the quality of delivery he gives us on the left. Still has that ability to put a great ball in. I think it's a shame that most will only remember the Europa league mistake and his last few seasons where he has barely played and not the earlier seasons where he was a genuine England team contender.  Great servant for the club, seems well liked, never caused any issues and I'm sure would be a great person to learn off.
I agree. And Cresswell looks rejuvenated on the left of a back 3 with Scarles doing more of the running and tracking. He looked excellent against Arsenal and it was his tackle that led to the goal.
