Do you think the Cockney Rejects will get booked?

During their set at Upton Park for the Mitchell, Katsides fight, I couldn’t hear a thing the speakers were so bad.

If you are going to give the World Cup final to Americans I guess this is what you end up with
Personally I’d prefer a normal half time break for the benefit of the players & if you want a show do it an hour before kick off and have the pitch cleared for warm ups 30 mins before the start

Imagine we will soon hear there will be 3 ad breaks in each half

No, it’s always 20 mins, or at least it always was unless they have changed it very recently. They do, to be fair get it done very efficiently. It’s still a longer half time than regular nfl games which is 10 mins.

Enough time to go for a massive shit and make some food though.

Because a 15 minute break isn't a challenge for either viewers or attendees, but it will only be a matter of time before that gets extended to 30 minutes to give these world stars (industry vehicles) an 'appropriate window' and still squeeze in the requisite amateur punditry. If viewers need their fix of homogenised pop, have it before.
Exactly this.  It'll be up to 30 mins in no time.  There's no way they'll be able to set up and do something this grand in 15 mins.

It'll be the usual corporate greed tactic of introducing something gently only to ramp it up later.

If it's for the benefit of TV audiences they can stage the concert away from the stadium and CGI the crowd in as and when required.

The grounds likely to have big, fuck-off, ego-boosting screens in it anyway, so those actually arsed to turn up on the day can also experience that historic TV moment alongside those at home.

Not surprising I guess

Shakira did one at the Copa America final in the summer, also in the States.

I see why they are doing it when you see the buzz created by the Super Bowl half time show and the revenues, and the extra audiences it captures- and TBH I'm surprised it's taken this long.

But just.... No.

.....and floggings too.

Then Infantino can berate us for calling it out, reminding us that Europeans once colonised the world so we now have now right to criticise.
He will then pop back to his lavish hotel suite to fuck the underage girl provided by the Saudis.

Assisted Bungee Jumping from the stadium roofs.

Those of a "colourful disposition" can collect their bungee cord from the chief executioner's office straight after their first jump.

Why, what's the point?
It's  a 90 minute event, half time is for fans to get refreshments and go to the loo.
Is it even possible to set up / set down a stage and have a mini concert in that time.
The cunts running/ruining the game are clueless.

Talksport were recently discussing an idea floated by some French ex pro recently to award no points for 0-0 draw as modern football fans apparently have low attention spans and don't like goaless games.
This would obviously penalise the smaller sides earning a draw at the bigger sides rather than rewarding them. The muppets actually thought it was a good idea.

It's just progress for progress sake.

Springsteen would be ideal - for many the best superbowl half time show ever!

let's hope they don't have the cockney rebels for ruining the finale at the Boleyn!

Cramming a couple of songs into about 11 minutes is hardly a concert.
