Halo 2025 World Snooker Championship
17 day marathon starts today.
''Ronnie'' is back from the dead after his prolonged mental health issues. Kyren Wilson the defending champion.
I know there are a few snooker buffs on here, anyone you fancy? Looks like an open tournament.
I'd love to see Ding finally win it, put will go for Selby.

Re: Halo 2025 World Snooker Championship
He's looking favourite for me. Can see him beating the record for most century breaks in a season now he's got to 100 again. 5 more to beat Robertson.
I think whoever wins the title this year, it'll be whoever wins out of Trump vs O'Sullivan.

I don't actually mind watching him play as he can also break build too, he's not quite in the Ebdon, Grinder, Griffiths mould. You don't win 4 world's if you're just a boring, safety player.
Along with Hendry and Higgins he's been 1 of the best Matchplay player's on the circuit. He just struggled to get to grips with his tip this year... *sniggers uncontrollably*

Selby gone, O'Sullivans side of the draw now beginning to open up to go far in the Tournament. Would love to see him finally get the record 8th World title. He's got a great chance and looked back to his best in the last session.

Provided they weren't 'How's that you fucking cսnt?' or similar...
That's what I managed to lip read as O'Sullivan picked his nose before patting Carter on the back wiping a fat bogey on him.

Love to see it when he's playing flawless Snooker like that. Blew Carter away which was as I suspected just the kind of opening round opponent he needed to get his head in the right frame of mind. Half a chance to win it if he keeps that up.
A few years back at the Ally Pally I watched him thrash Marco Fu 6-0 in an hour and 20 odd minutes. That was breathtaking and a privilege to watch.

And fair play to them both after the match for a little handshake and a couple of words.

Williams is the latest old codger to come from behind and beat Wu Yize 10-8 in the end when really Wu Yize should be seeing that out. They're the kind of tough matchplay matches they need to consistently win if they are to ever win the biggest Snooker prize of all. They need to learn a bit of cuntishness and grind down their opponents down rather than allowing them a way back in easily.
The Essex showdown is about to start between O'Sullivan and Carter. Hopefully the spikey pair live up to the billing and it's got plenty of action/fireworks it promises.
It's like they are all cloned to be like Jimmy White! The only reason I got into snooker was because of him but he could never quite get it over the line. It was as if he was more of a natural pool player than snooker and he was damn good at that as well but didn't quite win enough of the big titles that matter.
