Benn v Eubank Jnr

Who's your money on or who even cares? 

I reckon Benn within 6 Rounds and for Eubank Senior to make a surprise entrance flying in on a drone to simply the best.

Eubank just starting to land the better shots now. Benn taking them well though.

For the bigger ban, Eubank is fighting like an absolute fanny.

Just hope it's a great fight that lives up to the family history. It should be explosive.

Looks like that sticker has worn down a bit now, no issues since the early fights

I’m ashamed to say that this is the first boxing event I have ever been to in my life.

Away from the actual boxing I don’t think I have ever seen so many fights break out in a crowd.

That's 2 ticked off my acca for tonight's card with wins for both Billiam-Smith and Riley. McKenna next to cause a bif of an upset by beating Smith but I just think he aint got the legs for it anymore at 36 and 18 months out the ring. The kid should do him.

As for the ring fucking sort it out and chuck some grit on that wanky slippy logo on the canvas. It's like bambi on ice out there..

Same. Although I still loved Eubanks style and eccentric showmanship outside the ring. Collins had both Benn and Eubanks number and underrated fighter but superb with the mind games leading in to matches like no other. Calzaghe was phenomenal for me with a fantastic unbeaten record I don't think he'd lose to either and even Collins bottled fighting him in the end hiding behind some weak injury excuse back in 97 before retiring. He didn't fancy it at all which was a shame for boxing fans who wanted so much to see it.

And yes the celtic warrior did indeed open up Eubanks head before taking a steaming shit inside with the whole hypnosis bollocks. Worked a treat for him and just the edge he needed to throw him off and beat him. Like you though he was an underrated fighter, he did bottle Calzaghe though because I think he knew he couldn't beat him. Calzaghe, Collins, Eubank all with granite chins you just couldn't knock out and at best have to go the distance.

There was an interview with Eubank Snr on Sky where he speaks about the fight with Watson. He basically says Watson was the best he fought and he was losing that fight. Watson put him down and he got up and managed to catch Watson with a peach of a punch that won him the fight.

at the end of the interview they asked him how he would like to be remembered, and I’ll never forget what Eubank said:

“in a fight I knew i couldn’t win, I got up”.
