Alese is still at Sunderland. Played a dozen games this season, but is currently injured.

Ekwah is on loan at St Etienne in the French Ligue 1. Played 19 games this season. Loan had an option of a £6m transfer.

Didnt Sunderland have a couple of our u21 players a couple of years ago? What happened to them?

Relegation looms without big changes.
The play offs dont tell the full story of their season nor the 5 losses on the bounce prior to getting there. All it told me was how much the pressure was getting to them to get promoted as earlier in the season they were actually a consistent side looking good for getting in the play offs and possibly autmotically. I think they may surprise people and possibly stay up. Their Team spirit is impressive and have a few decent young players amongst them.

Delighted that Celtic lost that. Can’t see how their fans can get much joy from winning the SPL 90%+ of the time. The joy of winning has to come from the struggle and the competition, not smashing teams on a regular basis in what might be seen as the equivalent of men vs kids matches.

The only downside of Sunderland coming up is that it increases Spurs chances of staying up next season

Hasn’t he signed for Brighton and moves officially this summer, might wish he’d have stayed ?

He just signed for Brighton apparently, off to go there. Some parting gift that is.

Delighted the Sheffield cunts fail again and delighted that Sunderland are coming up, because they truly are shit - second best and spawny for three of their three play-off matches.,

Well played Aberdeen. Can't stand Celtic.

It's been year of the underdog where the shittest Teams win.

Aberdeen last won the trophy in 1990 - in a penalty shoot-out win against Celtic.

Im glad someone mentioned him,  i dont know much about him as a player but he came across really well. Exactly the type of captain you'd want.

For me Sunderlands name was on winning the play off Final after that dramatic Semi Final play off win at the death against Coventry.

Sheffield was the best team first half, but somehow they sat back and let a young and inexperienced Sland into the game.
Delighted by the outcome, well done Sland.

Big investment needed to stay in the PL though.

Wasn't too impressed with him with that winner.
After today I was far more impressed by Patterson at the other end. Kept Sunderland in the match with some quality saves.

Sunderland fans have suffered over the last few years so pleased to see them back for the Derby with Newcastle
Sheffield Utd? Bunch of cunts & delighted to see them blow it. Carlos Tevez sends his regards

What the fuck is Peter Ridsdale doing there?? He's like that other Football fossil Terence Brown who just won't fuck off and die from the game.

Wankers
Waiting for one of them to sue Sunderland, or the ref, for lost earnings that they would have had if they were in the PL. Jon Stead was such a prick with that. Always hated Sheffield United, even more so after that season.

So, after that one and the Scottish cup final (also a very good match still going on), women’s champions league final anyone?

Nah. Me either. Although Arsenal to lose just for the comedy.
