Season 1 done and dusted for the 'new WHO site'...any feedback?

So just like Lopetegui, the new WHO site debut'd for the 24/25 season. A great proportion of the previous incarnation's active userbase has moved across successfully, with a few new arrivals to go with it.
What's the feedback of those that are still hanging around?
Anything that needs addressing urgently?
Anything you'd like to see as an extra feature?
Any thoughts on content or approaches to increase userbase or improve the place in general?

I like the foe facility but it does not fulfill my requirement to avoid the content I wish to avoid sufficiently enough.
Can there be a way to ensure content from foes does not show when included in posts from non foes?
In short if I foe someone I don’t want to see anything they post without me opting to display it.

No complaints from me.
Being able to mark/vote a response post as "Triggered" in addition to a Like/Dislike option may add a little extra amusement factor while contemporaneously reducing the admirable work of the self-enabled site content police.

On the technical side, good to see it finally being dragged into the 21st century. On the quality of posts, just gets worse and worse. All the decent posters piss off because they can't be arsed with about half a dozen knuckle draggers, dominating the forum to scream their bullshit at everyone.

I work in tech, AI specifically, yet I have not worked out how to embed YouTube videos, just link them.
Maybe it’s because I’m doing it on my phone.
As for the site, I love it, and I love WHO. It’s the unfiltered true soul of the West Ham internet. We’ve got oddballs aplenty, but it wouldn’t be the same if it was as drab as KUMB, which is where frequent WHOers go to die.
The only feedback is that I appreciate you keeping the WHO lights on. Those calling for its death while positing are fucking idiots, obviously.
You shouldn't have to 'do' anything....paste the link in like any other message text, and it should just automatically embed.
If you use the 'insert link' button it doesn't though....so maybe you actually just need to do less than you're doing now!

It's been done well. Personally I'm not that fussed about the new features either way, although I agree that a dislike button would be good. It might mean that certain people can just click on that instead of calling someone a cսnt and starting a schoolyard squabble.
Might be worth pointing out that this has been a pretty dismal season for WHU and that's naturally going to filter through to this forum, so the discussions have often been as tedious, negative and pointless as the football. We can only hope for better things next year.

Took a while to get used to (for me anyway

) but overall, this is a better site, so a big thanks to all involved in the move when the keys to the old site got lost
Love the ability to post YouTube clips, made some of the threads really come alive, can't think of anything to add or get rid of?
Suspect there aint many of us here that post on a regular basis and we are very much on the fringes of West Ham forums, in the modern snowflake world younger users would maybe get "offended", so if anything "new users" seem remarkably familiar!!!! And the old hands liable to get banned elsewhere so keep coming back, reckon most of us signed up in our 20,s and 30,s but now we are 50,s and 60,s and so grumpy opinionated old cunts

Some things don't change though

open any thread and odds on a fight or slagging match will be going on after a few days

TBH though that tolerance from MODS is what separates this site from all the others!
Good fun though, you get the West Ham news with some banter, abuse and piss taking thrown in, just dont take it too seriously and its a great site still
As you where (Syders the thick cսnt)

Manuel (the oracle) has already spoken on this… reckons the site should’ve been left to die.
Despite the fact that coming on here is the only thing that gets him thru his miserable, lonely days in Southeast Asia.
Blimey, that's your site feedback to Stubbo, all about me?? Your obsession with me is very weird son, but I'll take it as a compliment. And let's get one thing straight, you are in no place to call anybody else lonely. You poor cսnt.

It's shit and should have been left to die. That'll upset a few who hang off my every word and get themselves all upset.
That aside, since there are only about a dozen regulars left now it's still working well. Shame about the 'comedy posters' and the self imposed important ones who are full of wisdom and type out the same stuff all the time.

Without WHO I would never have fucked my old boots, given my head a wobble or had a shit like slippers falling out of a loft. Anyone who keeps it going therefore has my gratitude.

Stubbo, I asked last year if there could be a downtick option

that we could use as well as the positive version. You said you’d look at it. What happened?
Basically it's doable but a bit complicated (and "real" work has got in the way).
Alternatively there is a way to do it (but would wipe out all existing 'likes' which I'd have liked to avoid).
Still on the radar though.

I see no reason for it to change much. It's much better now we're able to embed YouTube and X posts.
Just don't become too mod heavy like KUMB. I had to endure it while this site was unusable as a VOYEUR and it was dreadful.
I guess those who have left have just moved on in life or developed thinner skin.
Concluding with a streamer/vlogger might be a way to increase numbers, but I normally hate all that shit.
