haven't watched a full game under this cսnt yet, but there doesn't seem to be any pattern to what he's doing. three at the back and a geriatric holding against andorra, 4-4-2 last night with eze out of position and further forward than the mong. like west ham,  we're pretty much fucked for the foreseeable future

I chose not to watch last night’s game. A comparatively meaningless friendly at the end of the season did not appeal,  the more so after the feast of recent games featuring club and international competitions ( the Spurs/ManU game was the turgid outlier in terms of skill and goals ).

An assessment of the last two teams that Tuchel has put out shows that that he is missing the point completely and in comparison the teams put out by Carsley at least gave us encouragement for the future.

Southgate took a lot of criticism, and rightly so, for not daring to win games, especially in finals and semis, but this bloke looks like never reaching a stage in a tournament where it becomes an issue.

Sod the so called big names Carsley should have stayed on.

We won't be doing anything special with the kraut in charge.

As said probably good that Tuchel gets a wake up call NOW and needs to have a rethink obviously 
Walker & Henderson were finished two years ago & the likes of Burn, Madueke etc etc are not international players
Maybe needs to realise that Saka is nowhere near his inflated reputation 
He has enough players but needs to get the mix right & puncture some over inflated reputations
Bowen who is a team player & works back & forward should be an obvious pick

Couldn't make head nor tail out of that selection.

If I'd just landed from Mars having watched all PL games this season, it would be very difficult to avoid coming to the conclusion that some (of those) players were promised a certain number of caps/minutes (and not by the (current) manager) when they were first called up.

As such, the manager was actually very restricted - by his own managers - in who he could pick & play.

The likes of Chalobah, Colwill and (possibly) Madueke will probably go the way of Loftus-Cheek, Mason Mount and others.

They’re all decent club players - sure. But are they really top-level England players? The best England have?

If any of them had played for West Brom, it’s unlikely they’d have played for their country. This obsession with Chelsea’s kids has gone too far. Pick them on merit, not promise (that often doesn’t quite materialise at the highest level).

Madueke ahead of Bowen makes absolutely no sense at this stage. He has no end product.

That back five last night (including the keeper) is as weak as I’ve seen since the days of Graham Taylor playing Gary Pallister (a CB) at left back and Andy Sinton (a left winger) at right back.

He just hasn't got a clue. A big give away sign of that is him desperately chucking on SIX Subs to try and see what sticks and yet still nothing. They only had to use 3.

Also he is relying too much on past it players. Last match he laughably started Henderson (who shouldn't even be in the Squad) and now Walker in defence (who shouldn't even be in the Squad).

The quality players are there, he just doesn't know how to use them. 1 of them bang in form and of real quality he even left out the Squad altogether, none other than our boy Bowen. 

Just 1 year to go till the World Cup. He's in a right mess with it all, predictably.

Many over-rated players in that England squad last night. This insistence on picking any living being who wanders through Chelsea’s building is becoming an embarrassment, as is the commitment to over-the-hill veterans whose best days pre-date Germany invading Poland.

Tuchel is also making the mistake - made by so many England managers - of trying to crow-bar unsuitable players into new positions. Sven played Scholes in left midfield, Capello played Gerrard there, Southgate played Mason Mount there and Trent in CM, and I have absolutely no idea what Rodgers was doing as a #9 last night. It was embarrassing. He genuinely looked like he’d never played football before - and it wasn’t his fault.

Pick your best players in each position and play them there. That bit really isn’t rocket science! Too many of these managers think they’re far more clever than they are.

The absence of Bowen from that squad, after the season he had, is - by any measurement - farcical.

Same old, same old. 

English manager should be English.

I want him gone asap.

I remember as a kid England famously losing to Norway 2-1 and the commentators rant (see below) going all over the world at how they had beaten a big nation and was listing PMs and varies famous Englishman at how your boys took a hell of a beating, these days if we lost to Norway no one would bat an eyelid as they are about our level.

Makes this Senegal humiliation even worse really, 3-1 AT HOME is utterly embarrassing seeing the players we put out, the clubs they are from and the combined valuation of them, Can't just point the finger at the Jerry for this, those players should be ashamed of themselves, 3 fucking 1, fuck me

Australia qualifies for the WC finals overnight with a 2-1 away win against Saudi Arabia, this follows last week's 1-0 win over Japan, many thought the Aussies had an uphill battle but shown some real spirit, be Group fodder in the finals mind!

See England are losing at home, not watching but guessing it's the usual billy big bollocks can't give a fuck type of performance from my countrymen? Tuchel has his work cut out, mind you rather they were shit now than next summer just hope he can turn it around somehow not least by binning some of these players for some that give a fuck
