This Crystal Palace situation!

Actually, feel pretty sorry for the Palace supporters here and what a bunch of cunts are the owners of Nottingham Forest, stirring the pot as they think they should take Palaces place😡

All stems from one of Palaces owners who has a 43% stake in the club, so technically is that breaching the rules? Surely it should be over 50% BUT he is also the owner of Lyon who will be in the Europa as well!!!!

Over the past few years Man City amongst others have gotten away with all sorts, as have Barcelona and Chelsea when it comes to swerving financial rules, but i expect as Palace are not in the "clique" UEFA will maybe make an example of them.

I hope they let Palace compete though.

Olympiakos, I believe.
just read that he apparently put his shares into a blind trust and stepped away from 'day to day' running just in case they qualified for the CL. They didn't so now he has stepped back in.

can't the Palace fella just do the same thing?
i hate to see this shit off the field ruining the game.
Exactly. The whole lot is dodgy as fuck. Far too much of these webs of ownership and influence in the game. People aren’t even content with owning one fucking club nowadays. They’ll bend every rule possible to their own ends.

We would be screaming “Bloody Murder.” If we were Forest. As for their owner. Who would you want in charge.
Someone who seems to give a toss.
Or
Someone. Who is just happy to fleece their fan base.?

Palace are finding out. They may have won the ticket. However. If you’re face don’t fit. Tough Tits.!

Spot on.

Not more than one major holding, of course. You might get the odd football person/org who holds a few shares in smaller clubs after moving around the sector. But totally agree that nobody should be allowed to hold a significant share in more than one club.

These days, with all of the betting possibilities and other forms of influence that can be exerted, it's just asking for trouble.
And get rid of all these ‘ownership umbrellas’. It’s farcical that clubs have these dodgy as fuck relationships like Chelsea with Strasbourg which they blatantly use to a competitive advantage.

Forest and their fat greedy owner just need to face up to the fact that they aren't that good despite the millions spent.

Their falling about feigning injury and time wasting tactics against us were amongst the worst I've seen and now they are grassing up the poor old stripey Nigels to get them thrown out.

This is akin to taking to the dinner money off  the special needs kid in my book.

They are fast becoming like a shit Liverpool in the victim  squealing and scumbag stakes.

I reckon old Stavros had initially gambled on them qualifying for the champions league and now is desperate to find a loophole to get them further up the food chain.

I hope they go skint and get relegated next season.

Rules maybe rules but 43% does not constitute a controlling interest in Palace? His holding in Lyon is more than 50% so fair enough with them.

As a West Ham fan then maybe fuck em, BUT as a football fan it just shows how shallow and sad the game has become, legal proceedings all over the shop and club owners going to extreme lengths to cheat, if your big and rich enough and in the "clique" and can fill a few brown paper bags or have lawyers to drag things on for years until they get forgotten or just dropped through sheer frustration and red tape its all ok, but if your NOT then rules(interpreted for "other clubs") are rules...............

Rules are rules. Or do we only bend them for shitehawks like the Nigels because they've been too shit in their history to ever qualify for Europe before? Like Shorty says, fuck em.

I feel sorry for Palace fans & understand any change in ownership to comply had to be done by March
Obviously they had no confidence that they were winning the FA Cup

The obvious solution is that no one should be allowed to have interests in multiple clubs & scams like the ‘Man City group’ should be banned.
And yes, Forest are cunts
