I don't know if it is not mentioned in mainstream media so much at the moment, but I've just realised that I couldn't name even one current rugby player of any nationality.

Eben Etzebeth is a fucking beast as well. Also that French guy who looked like Rasputin the mad monk.

TBH I can’t think of a single other sport that someone on here hasn’t called gay or at the very least ‘shit’ or pointless at some point. It’s fascinating to see people’s different opinions on different sports and their reasoning for it. I’ll watch basically anything aside from horse racing. Can usually find something interesting or entertaining in almost any sport.
I agree, with the exception of Rugby.
It's fucking shit, nobody understands it, everyone who watches it is a cսnt, and it's gay.
Totally agree. The players don't even understand their own rules as they keep on giving away stupid penalties. What happened to Northern Sold?

Rugby fans drinking each other's piss etc.
Weird and gay.

One thing that has always puzzled me is the amount of each match that seems to be spent grappling with other blokes (assuming it's men's rugby that is). Leaving aside the rest of the game (which I'm sure is very skilful etc), there does always seem to be a huge amount of this.
Maybe I'm repressed or something but I developed a strong aversion when forced to play it briefly at school, 45+ years ago.
Plus I never managed to find it funny when they left turds in each other's kit bags. Well, maybe a bit funny...
PLUS, if you are on your own with a football you can do stuff. Alone with a rugby ball? What would you do?

Often prefer it to football and would attend more games, but Union isn’t synonymous with Scouseland and I think League’s shit.

It is all very touchy-feelie. Fuck knows what really goes on inside all those scrums.
