Impressive start by Sp*rs at Citeh. Two good sides going at it.
Does feel a bit like ‘here’s what you could’ve won’ with Kudus. Looks a completely different player.

The most depressing thing about this weekends fixtures is that only 1 team have looked proper shit

Even Leeds who got a spanking put up a fight for the most part.

Clamping down on penalty box holding … Pen to Big Six Team (17th place)
Bruno Fernandes pen lands at Stamford Bridge
Fulham fans singing
Bruno Fernandes, he looks like a rat
Fair call

That was a woeful penalty from Welbeck.
I think Brighton will struggle this year, not a West Ham struggle but a struggle nonetheless.

Everton lucky to be ahead
*Brighton won't score if they play all day
*hopefully this also doesn't age well

After four consecutive wins from the start of this season Hornchurch FC sit atop National league South.

Agree with you both. It's bizarre that managers I assume constantly want to play like this. It costs goals, just get rid of the thing. Would loved to have seen some of the keepers of the past try this. Big Phil Parkes wouldn't like it for sure, where as Bruce Grobbelaar would have probably loved it!

I notice that Will Still has restored Downes to Soton’s midfield. This match also had two other erstwhile hammers, where Cresswell seems to be Mark Robbins’ regular left back choice for Stoke and Mubama, who got a second yellow ( simulation in the penalty box ) has already a couple of league goals to his name.

The Man City goal where he passes to someone facing him on the edge of the area with two defenders on him was laughable
If the other team commits 2 or 3 players on the edge of the area you launch it

Had to laugh watching MOTD that teams are still taking these ridiculous risks with keepers passing to outfield players in or just outside the penalty area leading to comical goals and Keystone Cops moments. Just get rid of the bloody thing unless you have the quality to do it, which on the evidence of even Man City buggering it up very few posess.
Unless a Team is extremely competent at performing it, no Team should attempt it as it just makes them look like a dogshit Pub Teams. We are definitely one of those sorry Teams and it's cringeworthy to watch.

Just saw highlights on LiveScore
DeBruyne’s goal was a wide free kick that went straight in
Napoli’s other goal … McTominay of course

Serie A kicked off yesterday, KDB scored for Napoli and Milan lost at home to Cremonese (remember them?)
Juve v Parma
Como v Lazio
Atalanta v Pisa all today

Watched Man City yesterday & unless Rodri comes back as the player he was I think they are still vulnerable
Arsenal have done well to strengthen with Zubimendi , Eze & Gyokeres & even Norgaard as a solid back up & it COULD be where they step up from 3 second place finishes.
Very strong defensively which would be my concern for Liverpool
If Liverpool get Isak & Guehi next week obviously that makes a big difference
Until you’ve seen half a dozen games it’s hard to judge who is going down
Apart from us … 2 games is enough to say unless we have an exceptional last 8 days or so it’s West Ham & 2 others
