You know what Pickle that’s not a bad choice. CARRICK would be worth considering I’d agree with that.

I think Michael CARRICK would be a very good fit if he could be prized away

"Onsideman Here’s the thing, your insight is amazing. How did you become such an oracle on football ? “West Ham United is a football business turning over hundreds of millions of pounds. They employ people on huge salaries to make decisions. If they can’t then they should get someone who can.” Gotta laugh! Ffs…. What a talent!"

"Onsideman - Exactly this. When Bayer Leverkusen were struggling I bet their fans didn't are the unknown in coaching terms Alonso coming in and I bet not one of them suggested him, Tim Steidten employed him though. How many had heard of De Zerbi before he went to Brighton?"

"I love the way that posters who are against a change of manager say ""go on then, you choose one"" and sit back thinking they've won the argument. As if it's our job. It really is laughable. Here's the thing. West Ham United is a football business turning over hundreds of millions of pounds. They employ people on huge salaries to make the decisions. If they can't then they should get someone who can."

It is the parasite's main duty to convince the host that there is no life without the parasite.

"I take it game by game, if you take the past 3 seasons then I’m happy enough with the outcomes, getting in Europe winning a cup. Of course I’m not pleased with home cups and generally losing to the same old clubs. So I ask the question will a new manager match that and more? And who? It’s you lot that slag off every week, I’m realistic. You come up with the answers."

I've been impressed by Oneil at Wolves and Bournemouth. Could he do a good job with more resources at a bigger club?

"RM10 - nearly every match thread you predict us to lose RM10 6:31 Thu Apr 4 Re: ‚ö? Wolves v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview I think we may lose this if they thinking about Leverkusen Yet every time someone mentions we could do better. RM10 3:37 Fri Apr 5 Re: ‚ö? Wolves v West Ham - Official Match Thread - Preview HP- have you got a manager in mind that can take us to a new level Can you not see the problem with that? 10th biggest spenders in Europe over the last ten years, we're not over achieving we where we should be as a minimum... There's probably not another coach in our league who couldn't have us where we are... Most would do it without the turgid football on offer"

"‚ÄúMystery wrapped in an Enigma‚Äù - perfect summary of West Ham! ?üòÇ?üëç We could be great but we aren‚Äôt, we could rotate the squad but we don‚Äôt, we could attack many inferior teams but hold back, we could make substitutions when it‚Äôs obvious but we don‚Äôt. The team play in a constrained way and together could be a far more effective unit. It‚Äôs Moyes approach that stifles a lot."

"With Alvarez back, we’re a striker, a full back and a centre half short of being a side capable of taking on anyone in the League. Problem is, we are also short of a proper manager so we are a bit of a mystery wrapped in an enigma: nobody knows what’s going to show up on the day. With our biggest game of the season coming up on Thursday, we’ll probably focus on keeping shape, staying injury free and may lose this without breaking sweat at all."

"Not capable of beating any team handily after the 5-0 spanking we gave Freiburg. Unbelievable, contrary to what you think Manuel I think we’re a good team."

Is thee some sort on unwritten competition between PL managers as to who can get through the season using the fewest players? It's the sort of thing Dithering Dave would win when he says that's what he does.

"I like what O’Neil has done at Bournemouth and Wolves with a relatively modest budget. Bournemouth were expected to go down but he kept them up and improved the way they played. Wolves lost a few star players and the expectation for success this season was to keep them up. He’s exceeded that already. Not sure just how good he is as a coach. / manager but he’s got Wolves both organised and able to keep the ball fairly well with not the most expensive / quality set of players. Wont be easy but Alvarez back will help. As someone said the other day, Alvarez and Paqueta with the latter as the No 8 would be a creative and combative central midfield? Means Soucek in a more advanced position but as one of his biggest critic, i would say he’s been a lot better since Feb with his passing. He’s always going to be too slow longer term but he’s better than JWP just now for sure Zouma cannot play surely so will the rickett prone Aguerd return. I would prefer Oggy nut he’s not played for months. Hope we can get something and avoid any injury as our 13 man squad is the definition of “wafer thin” :-("

"Agree with Surf, don't give me any old bollocks about respecting the point/a point is OK bollocks, if we seriously have any ambition to finish 7th then we must win this game. 2 measly points from the last 3 games, enough, win this game or fuck off."

"First of four games that we need to win for European Football next season apparently. I can see Moyse dropping players to ""give a chance"" for others to show what they can do."
