David Moyes

I see Moyes has ‘set up his team to old man’ their way through another game and get a result.
Top Top manager who should still be managing West Ham. Instead we had 2 inferior managers.
Absolute shambles!

What a remarkable turnaround for Everton, powered by Moyes who should still be our manager.
Who I really blame is Sullivan for listening to our fans who naively believe that with the players we have, we should be playing a better brand of Football.
Most of our players are limited and Moyes got the very best by being economical with our approach.
The West Ham fan base are truly clueless.
Yes and No. Moyes got the best out of a very small squad but that squad did not improve significantly over time. The football was pretty dire at times too and despite the (for us) good finishes and that cup win he was a bit of an enigma here.
How he does there and who he signs will maybe tell us about how Everton are run as a club versus he obvious dysfunction in signing players here. Clearly the Steidten - Moyes - Sullivan dynamic was a disaster.

If you can defend in this league, the other team will always give you chances. Moyes is proving this with Everton.

Is that the same Moyes who got us 19 points in his last 19 games? Or a different one?

Everton now sit above the two Premiership teams that Moyes failed with.

Time will tell again with Moyes. Doing great at Everton at the moment but its when he has to improvr the squad and progress the way they play that he might come unstuck again. About 18 months he was great for us then it started to unravel. Can he sustain the good form longer at Everton and will fans be happy with the Moyesball approach after another season ? I have my doubts but only time will tell
They’ll be happy winning games, I can’t remember what that’s like.

All I have read on this thread is that all Everton have gained is a new manager bounce!
Well where is our new manager bounce?
This flake is not the answer!

You could just forget the internet, get out in the real world and meet me for a drink?
You really shouldn't mix alcohol and clozapine.

Yes mate.
I reckon we do it in a similar fashion to the Fulham win.

Tolerance, along with apathy, the last resting place of dying society.
I'll tolerate nothing.

Yeah retaining him has been costly as he reduced the squad to 14 and recruited older experienced players with no sell on value. That will take several windows to fix

Moyes was as stale as a 6 month loaf of bread. Unrefrigerated. At west ham and apathy had well and truly set in amongst most of the fanbase. Should have gone the morning after the trophy parade . But dwarf being dwarf the opposite happened. And were playing catch-up now .

1 year ago we were getting done 5-0 at Fulham.
And tomorrow we'll be getting stuffed by Brentford.
i'm glad you've said that, given how many of your predictions are wrong.
i'd be more worried if you said we were gonna win.
