Midweek football

Post Mad Ferret »

What do we reckon for the League Cup semis then?

I have a feeling Arsenal will turn over Newcastle and get to the final. Seems like the Geordies are already planning their Trafalgar Square piss up...can see Arsenal shocking them.

As for Spurs, I think that lead from the 1st leg is absolutely vital for them. Can see them battling for a draw at Anfield, and progressing to the final.

A NLD in the cup final would be a sight to behold. Bit of a lose/lose for us whoever wins.

Wouldn't like to call this game but if pushed I'll go for the Geordies. Think Liverpool will brush those other cunts aside tomorrow night.

If Spurs do win it, they will be in the Conference League next season, which means there is a genuine chance that they win back-to-back trophies 🙈
Rice winning a trophy with Arsenal is 1000 times more palatable than those cunts winning it.

As for the semi finals I just hope Arsenal and Spurs both get soundly thrashed and a couple of players from either side get season ending injuries.

Think Toon will get through but will panic stations if Arse score first. Think Spurs will get over the line somehow.

I would like and I expect a Liverpool vs Newcastle final. Unless they use 'the heavy ball' at St James' Park

As long as Tottenham get smashed for 6 & Fat Ange soils himself on the touchline at full time I will be happy
Arsenal will be confident in turning this around and could see them winning …. maybe 2-1 which obviously won’t be enough

Hard to believe but I actually want Liverpool to win the league over the arrogant prick stay humble Gooners

Not bothered if I am honest!

That said, I hope Spurs play as many games as possible, more fatigue and that will give us our best chance of finishing above them!
