Potter has to go this week.
Not sure how true this claim about giving up on the Everton and Arsenal games is. But IF it's true, and we are already accepting that we can't get anything - at all - out of an away game at Everton, then we might as well close down the football club.
For me, that mentality does two things:
First, it tells me this is a relegation season. Nailed on.
Second, it explains in the starkest terms possible exactly why David Sullivan has to fuck off out of our club.
It is an atrocious, supine and pathetic mindset. It says that the people in charge of West Ham have completely given up. To know that you've got the
wrong manager, but to delay getting rid of him because you've got a couple of tough games coming up? Seriously, if you are not prepared, as a board, to compete in this league...then you might as well shut down.
It's a competition. You're supposed to fucking compete. Doesn't mean you'll always win. But fucking well compete you stupid cunts.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this is happenning because under Sullivan, starting with Allardyce, various managers have been allowed to throw numerous cup ties. I say allowed, I wouldn’t be surprised if the cսnt actively encouraged managers to throw them.
The porn dwarf has absolutely no moral compass and not a sporting bone in his slug like body.

Yep, one of Sullivan't great successes as a chairman is that over 15 years he has managed to condition a sizable chunk of our fan base - including some generally smart people on here - that we must always shop in the bargain basement of the pound shop when appointing managers and staff.
To the point where many just default to the usual list of subjects mentioned below.
The supine, unquestioning football media is the same. And it's all because nobody has ever stood up to the ankle-high poison dwarf - particularly in the media. But that is changing with these protests, I hope. I notice that previously non-committed journos like Henry Winter are now openly questioning Sullivan's stewardship of the club. It has taken 15 years too long. But it is welcome. There are signs that the tide is turning.
It was also good to see Dan Lawless get a fair amount of time to actually put his points of view across to Jim "One Source" White the other day.
If you run a top 20 football club in terms of global revenues, with annual revenues in excess of £300m, there is absolutely no excuse whatsoever for appointing unemployed, cheap and shit managers every single time. You should be in a position where you can appoint one of the top 20 managers in world football. And we haven't ever done that.
That's not expecting "too much" as Simon Jordan might suggest to fill some TalkSport airtime. It's expecting a manager, staff and squad commensurate with the size of the club.
Keep pushing for all of this, folks. I'm told from some football journo mates that the protests and disaffection are ruffling feathers inside the club and boardroom. Questions are being asked of Sullivan, and he doesn't like it.
I'm sorry, but the pair of you are talking bollocks.
No one is just accepting it because they've been brainwashed ffs, or are happy with it. There's just zero fucking point in discussing who we'd actually want to see in the dugout.
My choices would be Glasner, Iriola, Silva. I'm sure every one of us would want similar. Utter fucking futile putting that list up, because it ain't happening. That's not just accepting it, that's just reality.
I assume you'll both be at the next protest?
Yep - I'll be at the next protest, providing I'm not working.
And, sorry Eerie, I just disagree - and adding the word "bollocks" to the description doesn't give it any more weight. The moment it became obvious that Potter is going (and he is), too many fans just defaulted to the usual list of suspects. You might well see it as "reality" - and it is a reality under this chairman: Sullivan will once again appoint a cheap, available manager. But that's because Sullivan has conditioned everybody into that "reality". That's exactly what conditioning is.
It's WHO mate, words like "bollocks" are as tame as it gets.
Of course fans defaulted to the usual list, because it's from that list that the new manager will be chosen from. It's not conditioning, it's reality. You're a journo, you know the difference.
You & Clint are not out on your own with wanting the owner to think outside the box, we'd all love that. Currently there is a campaign to get them out, and there is not a single post or fan on here that gives them any backing. So I'm really not sure what your point is, other than trying to come across that everyone is brainwashed, but not you, you're far too clever for that. That's how it comes across anyway.
That said, I like your contributions on here. I also like challenging them when i don't agree. All good.

Exactly, for too many people perception is reality and perception is maliable.
The reality is we do not had to accept this dwarf cսnt's bullshit, just as you don't have to accept an abusive spouse or any other intolerable situation.
The proper pressure, correctly applied will break anything and it time to act.

It's not conditioning. Stop bleating on. You are giving Sullivan too much credit. It's just a simple fucking case of the fans knowing what Sullivan will do. He will go for the cheapest option. It is the reality.

How can Nuno be too expensive…
” Nuno Espírito Santo signed financially improved 3-year (2025/28) contract at Nottingham Forest back in June 2025. His salary was increased to £3 million plus team success related bonuses upto £1 million a-year.“
and now out of Work…
barrow Boy Sullivan…
As Usual…

I should say that we've never appointed one of the top 20 or 30 managers in world football in the Premier League.
We have, in my view, had two such managers in the past: Ron Greenwood and John Lyall.
Since then, with a couple of notable exceptions, we've generally shopped in the vomit aisle at Kwik Save.

Funny how we’ve just come to accept the level of mediocrity in appointing new managers. As you’ve pointed out below, we’re one of the richest clubs in the world, any aspiring coach would give a left bollock to manage a PL club with this kind of following & financial clout.
and yet we’re forced to trawl the streets looking for a cheap option like joyo at 2am in Bangkok.
its gotten so bad that the majority of fans just accept it as the norm.

Nuno too expensive so they're going to return to the serial failure, and in every other clubs eyes, unemployable, washed up, never was manager, Bilic, because he's cheaper than a rattling crack whore.
Not like there's over a hundred million in TV money at stake...
Fuck it, I would have taken Nuno but now nothing less than a real investment in to top, upwardly mobile, employed manger is acceptable. Iraola, Glasner, Silva or equivalent from the top leagues.
If a club with tye country's 2nd highest gate and season ticket base, top 10 nationally in revenue and top 20 globally, can't take a manger from Bournemouth, Palace or Fulham we're having the piss taken out off us.
No to Nuno. Bollocks to Bilic. Do one, Dyche.
This.
