Until West Ham find out mojo again, a game against a David Moyes managed side will always have some kind of extra significance.
Layer on the pressure on Potter who looks like a dead man walking, and this game is under intense scrutiny.
It looks for all the world like Potter has two games, not to save his job, but to buy a stay if execution, against Everton and Arsenal, made none the easier by these two being amongst the best set piece side in the league....the Hammers clear achilles heel.
The stats this far have backed up the eye test...West Ham ARE terrible at defending the box, none of the keepers help out on crosses, and we give up corners willy nilly.
But if Potter is to cling on, nothing but a win here will do.

Predicted LineUp:
With Everton's prowess at set pieces, Soucek's absence, and Potter's love to tinker, I expect him to fuck around with things and go to a back five.
Areola
Mavro. Kilman. Scarles
KWP. JWP. Diouf
Paqueta. Fernandes.
Bowen. Fullkrug.
Subs: Hermansen, Todibo, Igor, Irving, Potts, Magassa, Summerville, Guilherme, Wilson
Predicted Score:
Everton: 3
West Ham: 1 (Bowen)

We get a free kick with one minute to go and a chance to get it into their box and Paqueta fucks around with it and loses possession. Sums that cսnt up. Nuno looked rightly livid with him..
Füllkrug has been a total joke. £27 million wasted on that old useless lump.
Magassa looks ok, some decent moments.
Yet a typical piece of shite marking by Mavrapanos for their goal.
We have had a lot of decent possession but lack any semblance of a goal threat. I'd bring Wilson and Marshall both on at half time and hook Füllkrug and Paqueta.

Magassa provong my doubts to be unfounded
At last a beast in midfield who can compete physically.
Paqueta giving it away far too often, Fernandes not strong enough at times. Kilman crap positionally. Fullkrug not good enough because he was never a forward that is a target man.
But overall I have seen some green shoots.

Magassa growing into it a bit. There’s promise there. Far better than with JWP in there.
Yep. Looked off the pace for the first 10-15 minutes. Then he started leaning into his tackles and he’s looked better since. At least he looks to pass forward.

At least Nuno looks like he is capable to tear some new arseholes half time. Looks furious

He did well winning that free kick and forward pass to Fullkrug near the end which was good to see.

We need a striker that can run in behind in this game. Their CD’s are too good for Fullkrug.

Hasn’t been great, but I can see we’re clearly shifting the ball around a lot quicker than usual and can see a desire to get forward, rather than sideways and backwards bollocks

Fullkrug’s first 30 minutes has been a masterclass in how not to play the #9 role.
He’s been diabolical.
Missed a good chance, poor link up play, given it away several times, even played a one-two with an Evertonian at one point.
He’s got to do so much better. Playing like an absolute lump at the moment.

Joke booking, even Talksport commentators said so.
Our fans chanting against the board loud and clear. Commentators mentioned that too. Said the stadium lacks atmosphere and the fans think the club has been "mismanaged for years at executive level'
