"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"The QB market might well heat up in the off-season. The 2022 is not expected to have such a deep pool of talented QBs as last year (although I think a couple of them will turn out to be better-than-expected in the NFL). Roethlisberger gone Brady looks like he's going after 4th Feb (when he gets ££) Rodgers again cheesed off with the Cheeseheads Denver desperate for a starter 49ers unsure about their QBs despite strong roster Pittsburgh and Tampa will need strong replacements Dak's ankle and impatient Jerry etc Even talk of Mayfield moving on from Cleveland before he can walk away for far less money - so he might get shopped around. Can see the free agency or trade market heating up and some overly-expensive deals, or big trades for play-callers, coming up. I remain convinced that Mayfield is a good QB waiting for a good coach to work with. The Browns was hardly the place that was going to maximise his potential. But I think he could go somewhere else and thrive if the Browns make the mistake of letting him go. Tampa? Steelers? 49ers?"

"This is the most exciting super bowl match up for years. Really looking forward to it. Hope it's not a blowout one way or the other, although looking at how the playoffs have gone so far, it could be a belter."

"I'd rather Kaepernick back over Jimmy G, that's how shit he is. At least that cock could run a bit to make up for his fucking awful throwing ability."

"You never know, but I can't see Rodgers heading out West to join the 49ers. Too much invested in Lance and they'll struggle to offload Jimmy G or an unproven Lance - a third, extremely expensive, QB (even one as good as Rodgers) might be a bit much for them to handle on a pricey roster. More likely that Rodgers does his usual thing of moaning a lot until he gets even more power in Green Bay, or he departs for Pittsburgh (he's a declared fan of Mike Tomlin) or Denver (Elway is a declared fan and has form when he poached Manning). Can see him ending up in Denver, who have some good receivers and a running game. They just have a turgid QB. Rodgers could light that place up and with less pressure than he would face in Pittsburgh."

"The 49ers will probably use that loss as a reason to have an ""open competition"" in training and then start Trey Lance next season, won't they? No idea how that will go. But that's a roster with generally strong talent and several stand-out players. They will be competitive again next season."

I'm hoping that's the end of Jimmy G with the 49ers.

"Two good Championship games - thought the Niners only had themselves to blame. Jimmy G is an 'ok' QB, but he made some poor decisions under pressure last night. That said, the Rams front line does create consistent pressure, even if it is just shoving the line back a yard or two - still means oppo QBs have to change their dropbacks and pocket, and can't get a rhythm. Jimmy missed some easier throws on the back of that. So Stafford gets to a Super Bowl. Who wins: the Wandering Mutton or the Stray Cats?"

The good news is. If the Rams do win the Super Bowl. Silent Stan will spend less time worried about Arsenal.

"Even if tartt had caught it that useless cսnt would have only moved or 2 yards forward anyway. We'll be a better team next year with hopefully mostert back, as mitchell done well, but not in the same league."

"Only stopped the throw going ro hand once in 45 attempts, can't do that with kupp and Beckham, gave them acres and the only incomplete ons other than that jnterception were shit throws and nothing to do with the secondary. Get Rodgers in for a couple of seasons, not sure about the youngster either and having a wank QB wastes what is an excellent team. Amazing making the championship game without a QB all season. Enjoy the superbowl Burnsy, I'll be watching it round lodings so may petrol bomb your house while I'm in the area!!!"

Fucking Tartt our safety dropping the easy pick is what swung that game. It was a gift ffs! He catches that and Niners score again instead of the Rams. Terrible!

Just pleased I never have to see him in the colours again. Rarely have any QB's in history been saved by their defence and the receivers yards after catch than Jim. He's fucking useless.
