May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.
Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?
Window this close season comes in two parts:

Ex usually gets it right and not your typical clickbait wanker. Personally I'd just take it with a pinch of salt as we are often razzle dazzled by the usual methods, but there's also elements of truth to it all as well.

I think you miss understand. It's Sullivan. Whetstone. And You Tuber's who are dropping the rage bait. And certain individuals are laughing at the fanbase.

Well don't allow it to get to you so much then, otherwise you'll end up with a coronary at this rate. Should be used to Sullivans games by now.

Claret and Sullivan reports we've immediately taken out another substantially larger payday loan from Barclays on (presumably) paying the last one back.
Makes me wonder is Sullivan's mismanagement techniques extend across his whole empire and many/most of his other operations are also in distress through borrowing heavily against potential future earnings.
Handing the banks a shovel load of interest payments through his West Ham connections may be his way of keeping the wolves from the doors of his other operations.

We were most likely never even on for him.
Simply his agent trying to get other clubs to get a move on.

Burnley and Leeds trying to jump-in and sign Wilson ahead of us shows the aisle we are shopping in. I'm sure all the promoted teams will look at West Ham as "one they can finish above". And why not - a bang average manager, an out-of-his-time owner, a disillusioned fan base and an ageing squad. What could possibly go wrong?
6/1 for us to go down could look very generous as the circus rumbles on
For once good news. Let them have him. However he will score against us. You just know it. Even if it's the only goal he scores all season.

It's a complete shitshow because the long term planning at this club is fucked beyond belief.
Yep, back to short-termism, until he eventually turns back to Moyes for the 3727129th time once he leaves Everton yet again.

Sullivan probably doesn't have much faith in Potter (and why would he?) So there's no hope that we're going to spend all we could this summer when there's a very good chance that we'll need to pay off Potter and his team, spend money on a new manager and his team, AND buy new players in the January window to suit the new manager, who'll probably have a completely different style of play, formation, etc.

Im worried we are back where we were 2 weeks ago. “Without a pot to piss in” in terms of budget. Kudus money gone. We did hear rumour that only 75% of the Kudus money wpuld be available to Potter. We also heard that PSR was not the issue but cash flow was and we had none. The Kudus deal was cheap in part allegedly because Spurs agreed to pay a third now. That would be just shy of £19 million which we spent on Diouf.
wouldnt be surprised if no more incomings without another sale.
We know the enemy, its Sullivan.

15 years and Sullivan still meddling. Thats the issue here. Wilson is typical, old has been but even if it was a younger player, same issue. Or is it just Sullivan making sure he puts some dosh the way of Salthouse, Silkman, Mackay etc to ensure they continue to suck up to him ( pretending they are friends). Sullivan buying friendships.
btw, as noted elsewhere, David Sullivan Jnr all over Kyle Walker Peters promotional photos like a rash. I highly suspect KWP was another owner pick foisted on Potter albeit Potter had got his man Diouf so not so fussed snd can see a use for KWP.
In short, owners of football clubs should not meddle in the football operation. No other top division club has that anymore. Its a 30 - 40 year old operational model by a narcissitic owner, who is a rank amateur. His greatest achievement is to successfully hold back West Ham from any real success and progression.
We have to outlive him and hope the sons are not as “needy” for validation

It never ceases to amaze me . That supporters believe ex WHUFC employee. He gets bits and pieces about youth team players and the starting XI 20 minutes earlier. The rest is easily picked up via social media . As big a con artist as farage Tommy 10 names and starmer .

If we aren't even signing Salthouse's unwanted damaged goods on a free this time then wow. However that's a net positive in a weird way I guess. I sort of hope Wilson has enough pride to tell us (Sullivan) to fuck off and take himself off the table and sign somewhere else, assuming he's able to stand.

Ex’s update: “As Callum Wilson’s contract offer is quite low then there is every chance that other clubs could come in and offer him more. He could then take those options up. There is apparently interest elsewhere in the player.“
Struggling to even conclude the Wilson deal. This is why we moved from the Boleyn that was holding us back so much for these Next Level of signings.
Typical bullshit
No striker
We're signing Wilson
But only if he accepts our unacceptable offer
Lot of clicks there

I don't buy the gossip from C&H that Potter doesn't want a striker.
He probably didn't want Sullivans's striker , so what happens next is Sullivan having a tantrum and will use Salthouse and sign Wilson æ. He then can put the blame on Potter.
Sullivan has to fucking die !

I'd rather no striker than Wilson or Antonio again, and those be our options. They may be "free" but the packages will still cost a lot for little return with those two.
Agree. It's a sad day that we are desperate for a striker but would rather not sign one.
But if it's Bowen, Fullkrug and Marshall the 3 strikers, with Summerville, Guillerme, Paqueta, Orford, Earthy and hopefully a singing or two supporting, then that is probably better than bringing in a 33 y/o has been.

Also think Potter may consider Bowen a striker option now, so it would be Fullkrug, Bowen and Marshall going into the season.
Which would make the potential chasing of Harvey Elliot more understandable, as he offers a RW alternative should Bowen go central.

Still a full month of the window left though, and it wouldn't surprise me if Sullivan leaves it right until the last minute to try get deals over the line and to see where other deals fall/land and whom becomes available (cheap loans!), as that also saves him a penny or two and has been the case in previous years - its not panic stations just yet - but agree with others than the central midfield not having changed is still the greatest concern.

He's not signed for anyone yet, has he?
Not sure, hasn't signed for us though.
So still could, well aside from we have no room because we haven't been able to sell.
Still could, might not. The point is there was a meltdown on here when the ITK's were saying he was all but signed up, that was how long ago? Most of these blud clarts know fuck all.
I prefer to wait and see, but to each their own fras son.
