the definition means there’s similarities & parallels between the real thing and the analogy you’re attempting to use.
it doesn’t work because there are none. That is why other posters told you that your analogy doesn’t work. you can keep shouting and getting angry, but we both know that west ham weren't forced to move stadiums. So what you are saying is there is absolutely no parallel no matter the insignificance at all on any level between Palestinians being forced to leave their home and West Ham fans being forced to move from Upton Park because lets face it we did not have a choice - you know what that means it wasn't our decision the Club Board decided. Even for the purposes of explaining to an idiot (thats you btw) None at all yeah!
Oh and even on a hypothetical basis (you do know what that means right, it means like a an imaginary situation, not a real thing) for the purpose of explaining to a simpleton like yourself lets "pretend" West Ham fans did protest vehemently about the move and were dead against it, that wouldn't work as an analogy because the Isreali army haven't bombed Green Street yeah!
Thanks for clarifying Goose - I bow to your immense understanding of the English language!
I look forward to the next analogy being used (without checking with you first) on WHO by some unsuspecting fool like me (but not necessarily me it could be someone else - just to make that clear so you don't get confused) that is highlighting a serious issue but because you don't agree that the analogy is 100% exactly the same as the situation it is being used to compare to, you decide to derail their argument because you look like a fucking idiot when its explained to you!
Or maybe it might be you that uses an analogy - but that's not likely you'll only fuck it up! "Der yeah like Palestinians being forceably removed from their homeland in Gaza is like "Asians" being forced out of Uganda" - Oh no hold on their Goosey President Amin did not bomb their homeland he just gave them 90 days to get out - and I know this because I used to work with a guy from India whose family were expelled at the time. So that analogy doesn't work!
Good Luck!Praise the Lord I think Billy is finally catching on.
Yes there absolutely no parallel between west ham moving stadiums and what is going on in Gaza.
it's hilarious that you cannot comprehend that, while at the same time calling other people stupid.

How analogies workAnalogies compare two things that are otherwise unlike. They are based on the idea that if two things are similar in some ways, they may be similar in other ways.Analogies can be used to help people understand abstract concepts by comparing them to something more concrete.
The analogy and the point I was making wasnt about your homeland being bombed it was about being forcefully moved against your will to a new home, slightly tongue in cheek I admit, comparing it to our move to the London Stadium.
Do you get it yet? No I didnt think so a bit too much for your timy little brain to comprehend. Even if you did understand now you are to embarrassed to admit it.Hahaha yeh you’re definitely proving yourself to be waaaaaay smarter than me here.
As pointed out to you by literally everyone on here, your analogy doesn’t work. Instead of admitting that you’re throwing around insults and desperately clutching at straws to make it relevant. Like I said, you carry on making yourself look ‘clever’.

If you'd actually read what I said resettling the Palestians is not a new or stupid idea. Yes Gaza has been levelled and the ordinary Palestinian should not be living in the rubble of a warzone, nobody should. So offer to resettle them temporarily and rebuild Gaza using the funds from the rich arab states and the US and make Isreal pay reparations. But suggesting that the USA should own Gaza in a land grab force all Palestinians to leave and then to turn it into a billionaires playground of condos probably developed and owned by Trump and his cronies is frankly insulting to all Arabs and can only be an attempt by Trump to get someone else to come up with a more palatable compromise because it is the most ridiculous of suggestions!
Hey I hope thats the outcome and maybe this is just a distraction from the utter chaos of his first 2 weeks in power.
Hey look over there... !!!!!!!!!!So Trump so far is the only one who has come up with a possible solution, while everyone else is sitting on their hands as per. Doesn’t seem like the countries surrounding them care too much to help and Lebanon is 60 % Palestinian apparently, what does that tell you?
Trump, if nothing else has laid the table, now let’s see how much the other Arab nations care to invest in Hamas. I think you’ll find it will probably be the Iranians, only problem is, they’re about to go broke.
personally I think Trump said the U S will take over Gaza to trigger the other nations to finally step up. One tac tic Trump always uses is positioning, he always sets any negotiations up with strong positioning. This is no different.
As I’ve said Hamas attacked Israel, they fucked around and found out, Israel has every right to protect itself and its citizens. So fuck knows why you’d expect Israel to pay a penny towards any rebuild.
Trump has made it clear the U S is no longer gonna be involved in nation rebuilding at the expense of the U S tax payer, so let’s wait and see what happens.
in the mean time we can all sit back and watch them live like rats in the rubble. Let them wallow in prolonged misery and disease, perhaps they’ll think twice next time.
Although if you have nothing to lose then the chances of it happening again will be much higher so not sure that’s the best option.
But it is their rubble so good for them.
And Rubble is what they asked for how fucking stupid.
