Rugby World Cup
Rugby World Cup
Not a massive fan of this sport. Seems everyone forgets the rules when on the pitch and give away stupid penalties. One thing thoug I'm pretty sure it was meant to be played in 30C temperatures. Those big guys will be collapsing in this heat.

Re: Rugby World Cup
England massive underdogs no matter who they play next weekend. You never know we might just upset the apple cart.

Re: Rugby World Cup
"We're there again, at the back end of a tournament, with the worst team we've had in a long, long time. In 2019 we were the best team, we beat the All Blacks when they were still the top dogs, and we absolutely mauled them. Sadly that done us for the final, but we still produced one of the best performances ever seen in that semi. The Paddies are the best they will ever be, because they are essentially a club side that play together every week, and they couldn't beat an All Blacks side that is nowhere near their greatest. Nevermind, onto another quarter final in 4 years time lads!"

Re: Rugby World Cup
I don’t think France or South Africa are going to lose any sleep over playing England in the Semis. It’s going to take a remarkable effort to beat either of those.

Re: Rugby World Cup
Dont watch much rugby (this was the first game I'd watched in this WC) but thought it was a cracking sporting contest with both giving their all. The All Cunts always were in the lead and edging control but Ireland got it down to the last few minutes where they needed to find that last try but the defence held out. Will probably watch France v SA as well ... that and last nights game are effectively the semi finals.

"Has someone redefined the term bottle job on here? I saw two very committed and evenly matched teams going at one another for 80 minutes and one of them gaining victory, eventually, in a very close match. A cracking game, a great advert for rugby union and though there are much anticipated to come last night’s battle may well be remembered as the game of the tournament."

"I remember in 2019, when all the Paddies & Taffs came on here absolutely crowing when we lost in the final. Read those words, THE FINAL Quarter finals it is once again, at the peak of your powers. Chin up"

Re: Rugby World Cup
"Not a bottle job but a huge missed opportunity for Ireland. Number ranked one team in the world, have been beating everyone for the past couple of years and slight favourites to win this World Cup. They will likely never have a better chance of winning it."
