And a bit eerily and worryingly Bonfire night!!!! Let's hope it doesn't descend into that though
Never know an election be in the news so much, all over Aussie TV and expect the worlds TV as well, so many (non Septic's) have an opinion on it as well? WTF
fuck knows who wins, personally don't care as both sides seem like a pack of cunts, so IMHO there will be no winner for the American people, the best we can hope for is that one side wins convincingly and so less chance of it kicking off but i bet whomever wins none of the doomsayers predictions will come to pass in any shape or form, it will just be business as usual and snouts in the trough for those associated with the winning side.
America will still be a freak show and your average American no better or worse off than before.

Yeah I get that, that’s fair enough.
the whole thing is arseways tho. Not needing ID to vote is mad. Voting mailboxes being burnt down is mad

Have to say, I don’t really know how this system works. Why can’t they just count all the votes and whoever has the most wins?
because then California, Texas and New York would effectively choose every president and Kansas and Nebraska would have no say

Miami-Dade reporting for Trump should carry it.

It's a tradition at that polling station, they all vote at midnight and count them.
Last time it was 5-0 Biden.

Of course a voting machine malfunction is going to affect both sides alike but just the excuse to get the conspiracy nuts dancing around like excitable monkeys
?
Do think that every voting machine spits out results 50/50?
That is only way it would "affect both sides alike"
We are not talking every voting machine. Depending on where malfuctions occur, which polling station, which county, which state, it will benefit one side or the other.
I have worked these, I know these things happen but your statement shows a huge ignorance of the process. And yes people (on all sides) can try to work that process, as has been proved already with courts dictating extra time when rules were broken.

Interesting their sort of exit polls which just covers issues and not voting intent. Just over 30% say the economy is the top issue and over 70% think democracy is under threat. Of course the second one will cover a lot from both bases - Dems who think Trump is a threat to democracy and conspiracy nuts who think the election is rigged. Going to be an interesting night...

Now the day has arrived and ive weighed up all the pros and cons of each candidate I've decided if i was voting then it would be Harris! but only by a small margin, not that it really matters im not a Septic so cant vote
If the White House does turn Orange though, it won't be the catastrophe many predict, although both seem to have proposals that may well let the inflation genie out of the bottle (only just got it back in!) so expect that to be the biggest issue for whomever takes office over the next 4 years...........
Overall, 2 poor candidates with no proposals that will address the main issues or change much, in a population of over 300M that's fucked

I miss James Brown - he would have made a proper president!
Show us Trump’s counter-inflationary policies. The inflation during the Biden years is a direct result of a number of factors of which Trump’s trade war with the world, support of Putin and GOP sabotage in the House are in the main.
Again, no grasp of reality. Biden and Harris presided over the highest trade deficit in U.S. history.
The government doesn't set the price of gas it is a combination of different factors.
Trumps trade deficit was the highest it had ever been under his administration as well.
These aren't difficult facts to find out for yourself.
