What we can hope for is for other teams thinking we are so shit, that they rest their senior players against us. Maybe we can nick a draw in-between...

I just think Potter looks gormless especially pacing around rubbing his chin last night. I’m in Greece so stayed up till midnight to watch that sh@te.
Stayed up till midnight, are you 90?

I will never, ever understand why football club managers are not paid on performance or hired with contracts that contain right to terminate without compensation once a string of bad results has occurred.

No excuse for him, he is a symptom of Sullivan disease but he is useless in his own right. No personality, uninspiring, dull, boring, business bullshit bingo, can't take criticism or challenge and possibly the worst manager since Grant.
Useless cսnt must go.

Sullivan and the rest of the board are obviously to be blamed for the shocking lack of transfer budget/ activity but pathetic Potter doesn't get a free ride.
The fraud has a 23.81% win percentage FFS. He's simply out of his depth and needs to go.

As I expected and I understand why all fingers and blame now being directed at Potter. He is without doubt a part of the problem but the blame will be disproportionately put on him because everyone knows there is nothing we can do about the root cause. Sullivan.
Only positive thing we can do is get some players in the next 7 days. Its left far too late and I reckon Sullivan will come up short but whoever is in charge cannot be starting with JWP, Paqueta and Soucek in midfield and we cannot expect Potts to fill the gap in speed and athleticism that is a problem all over the park.
This bloke from Marsaille is young but looks the part of the YouTube reels? We dont know if he’s up to it but we aint got many choices as Sullivan operates thru a select network of people and clubs and struggles with targets outside of that network. If he fails he deserves all the flak coming his way including financial asset loss in his shares.
i woukd seriously look at getting Bissouma on loan. He is proven, quick and strong and knows the Potter system. He would be useful to the next guy too I wager.
7 days to know if we even have a chance of survival

We are probably in a similar position now to the late eighties when Lyall left after key players were replaced by cut price duds.
We were relegated then and that looks very much on the cards at the moment.
It took a club legend to step into the fray to get some pride back followed by the spiv.to get us rolling proper.
The difference now is there is no Bonzo and no wheeling dealing wide boy who could at least identify the right players to keep our heads above water before of course he got too greedy.

Someone off Jeffrey Epstein’s list might be better than Sullivans
BTW Sullivan’s list is:
Dyche
Allardyce
Avram Grant
Christian Gross
Ivan Juric
Frank De Boer
Barry Fry
Ron Atkinson
Rowan Atkinson

Hear me out.. Carrick.
At this stage we are pretty much desperate to attract anyone due to the state of the Club it finds itself in. Sure it's fair to say Carrick might not fancy it either, but what I'd be banking on is his affinity he has with the Club that launched his footballing career.
He'd be someone that cares, knows better than most about the true values of the Club, what makes us tick and would demand those standards are upheld as a bare minimum, I'm sure.
I think he'd also get a lot of fans onboard straight away as well.
People can point to him not quite working out at Boro but I do think that doesn't tell the full story, having players sold and wasn't backed a great deal to get them promoted and got them up there in the play offs at least.
Beggars cannot be choosers and at the end of the day would people rather Potter or Carrick right now..
The choices are extremely limited to take on our joke of a Club.
He's also out of work so fuck all compo to worry about, just Potters laughable 2 year remaining contract to pay up that would stand in our way.
I reckon he'd be a breathe of fresh air, represent us well and look the absolute part as WHU Manager.

Dyche
Hodgson
O’Neill ( Gary or Martin )
Allardyce
Postecoglou
It will be Noble to start with IMHO.
Hodgson !
He would be coming out on a zimmer frame these days
Maybe sign him up a as player manager and stick him in midfield.

Watch this rude cսnt eyeballing one of the Journos and get short with him for simply asking a question...
I'd be tempted to launch my laptop at his head if he acted like that.
I didn't think he was that bad there and unlike Moyes he takes responsibility... He's completely out of his depth though and needs to be gone
I get that and he's definitely been worse. It's just his reaction to eyeball someone like that and get silly saying I already answered you, there's loads of others that want to ask a question (there wasn't, only 1 more Reporter asked). Was such a weird reaction, answer it brush it off and move on but he bites. It was a snapshot of his temperament in only a 7 minute Presser. He did answer other question alright though and did think he handled the discussion well with the Sky Reporter to his credit.

I doubt Sir Alex Ferguson in his prime could sort this shower of shit out. It's that fucking bad.
This. Potter is failing but this is years of poor buying and selling combined with plain neglect. Someone said this yesterday but our central defender cost 120 million between them and all four of them are average at best but mainly downright poor. They are nothing like the standard you should get from that outlay.
Our midfield is just a collection of misfits who can each probably do one thing well but overall need glue who are just shoehorned into positions they can’t really play out of necessity and they absolutely couldn’t make the step from the Moyes way to the Lop or Potter ‘ways’. They just aren’t capable of it.
Maybe if we got in two absolute dynamo midfielders and one absolute alpha cb we’d be ok enough to stay up but that just feels like a bare minimum requirement right now, and they need to be GOOD players. That defence needs marshalling badly. Kilman was meant to be a Fucking captain and should be the rock but he’s bloody dire. Not one player on the team apart from Fullkrug or Soucek when he plays have any physicality and bite about them. They are all pushovers.

You’ve answered your own question, Noble would therefore be the ideal choice for Sullivan. I never said the ideal choice for ME. I sense reading things and understanding them isn’t your strong point
