"Or should i say they are attacking to get THEIR land back. Good luck to them. The World will watch and do nothing to help them as they always do, shame on us."

"360, Iran, because they are capable and do ignite proxy wars, Yemen, Gaza now, Lebanon if the country wasn’t completely bust. And their reach in Syria. Their a ‘pal’ of Russia, get on increasingly well with China. Also because they’ve been enriching uranium at an increasing rate, that’s no longer curbed, because the nuclear agreement with them was ended. The talks to get it back into action have dragged on for two years? Because they’ve recently taken steps to normalise relations with Saudi Arabia."

"Are posters actually trying to force their political views over the atrocities that have occurred in the Middle East? For fuck's sake, grow up, people, you're no longer in the Thursday afternoon 6th form debating chamber."

Surf loves a bit of Labour bashing but you won’t see him mention old perverted cunts like Bone flashing himself and Pincher running around Westminster copping a feel.

I'm not sure that Starmer represents the entirety of 'the left' and Labour is 'backing Israel' in precisely the same way they are 'backing Brexit.'

"As far as the west and half the Middle East is concerned, the biggest obstacle to peace is Iran. I’m really interested in why Iran seems to have everyone by the balls? What am I missing? It’s not a nuclear power (yet?). It’s not that rich. Yet it wields power all over the place. Feel like if the Iranian govt was brought into line so many things would just stop happening. Someone enlighten me!"

"I suspect that we're seeing two incompatible ideologies squaring up against each other. One demands a fight until the last man standing, waving his sword in triumph, can claim victory, the other will fight until their wealth/money runs out."

Iran are now talking about overtly getting involved and have also threatened the USA. On the Cusp of yet another war. What do we keep fighting until all the money runs out and Inflation is over 100%? Good eh?

bigfrank 5:03 Mon Oct 16 Re: Hamas attack Israel Anon Why are you so aggressive and cannot accept different opinions you soap dodging mong. You speak on behalf of everybody now? I rather be a knuckle dragger then a jumped up lefty brat. My position on here has consistently been there's bad actions on both sides but HAMAS are far worse. Can you explain in your usually articulate man why this controversial stance makes me a soap dishing lefty?

Actually I like what Poland are doing. They are standing up for their citizens. Good for them and fuck the refugees.

9) The anti-Semitism of the left is obvious and may well come back to bite Labour and the SNP in the bum at the upcoming election.

"OK I'll play. Some random thoughts. 1) This thing didn't erupt out of nowhere. There are at least 100 years of context to consider 2) Proposing ANY kind of moral equivalence between the actions of Hamas and the IDF is preposterous. 3) I'm pretty sure cutting off the leckie and refusing to take patients from a country you have explicitly declared war on isn't in breach of international law. Nor is closing the border. 4) The Palestinians are much better at PR than the Israelis 5) Whilst I agree nobody is born wishing death on another group of people, history has shown us, not just in the middle-east, that this wish can be indoctrinated in people from the age of about 4 6) Some of our Irish posters still love a bit of terrorism. 7) People like to say, 'the UN' when what they mean is some minor Arab-sponsored sub-committee of the UN whose pronouncements have in any case been deliberately misquoted. 8) There are several potential winners here (Israel, Iran, USA, Russia, Saudi Arabia) and none of them are the people of Palestine."
