Spandex ~ I find most of the live TV addons on Kodi to be a bit unreliable Have you tried Mobdro (Sky Atlantic is on there)? The stream quality might not be as good on there but at least they're fairly consistent

"Thanks guys. I think I'll go down the firestick option as it's probably the most cost effective. BTW, does anyone know a good TV addon? I sometimes wanna watch Sky Atlantic, can anyone recommend one?"

"Spandex ~ For what it's worth I always use these guys:- www.droidsmart.co.uk for their boxes & their wizard for my build (then adjust the addons, categories & backgrounds to suit) They don't advise upgrading to Krypton v17 yet (although their wizard does work to install addons on v17 as well as Jarvis v16.1) I have installed Krypton v17.3 on both my tablet & my wifes tablets Although v17.3 works ok & is adequate, the interface is appalling, so I haven't upgraded my TV boxes yet As I understand it there's a malicious bug now present on v16.1 which can cause damage to your hardware & compromise your Google security (How true that is I don't know!)"

Spandex Sidney 8:19 Sat May 27 For the price i think the firestick is the best budget device for kodi. And reading your earlier post you can always use your Netflix login on both sticks.

"need some advice. had a mare after trying to load a new build on my pre-loaded stick. total disaster so had to delete the data off the kodi app but each time I upload the ares wizard, there seems to one error appearing when trying download pulse, and that one error makes it unusable so I have to start again are there any less complicated builds that are a bit more stable?"

"What is the cheapest way of watching kodi through your TV? I need to set this up for the lady in my life and I use an Amazon box because I have Netflix and Amazon Prime, which she doesn't. What is the cheapest way to get this running on her TV to a decent quality? Her router is next to her TV so no worries there."

"Tech Question Guys. I have an openelec box in the bedroom. I have Wookie Lite on it and all is well. I want to copy some new apps to the box but it of course doesn't have Android on it. I've tried copying an APK from my PC via Samba and it lets me see the Kodi box and drop the APK into the downloads folder. Problem is, when I go to download folder on box it is empty (I've unhid files on the box already). - anyone else got an openelec box and encountered this issue before? - do I need ES explorer in the box to see the APK? If so, is there a repository I can access to find the ES explorer app? (No play store so can't get it on the box that way and no browser either)... Thanks!"

Highly recommend Metropolis skin if you're sensible enough to not use an off-the-shelf build. Very clean design and easy to find stuff.

Had a mess about on my tablet today with Krypton v17.1 Got all my addons working ok after a lot of work but agree that the interface is utter crap & probably designed not to be user-friendly for obvious reasons I tried Confluence skin but that didn't help as I was unable to find how to add more headings (TV Movies Various Sports Adult Music Addons Maintenance) since it would only allow one heading In the end I put it back to the default skin The Youtube videos carrying across all my addons from v16.1 to v17.1 simply didn't work as Kodi would not open with v17.1 installed until v16.1 was uninstalled! All in all it's a lot of hassle upgrading to v17.1 & I won't bother updating my main devices from v16.1 until I really have to
