Rugby World Cup
Rugby World Cup
Not a massive fan of this sport. Seems everyone forgets the rules when on the pitch and give away stupid penalties. One thing thoug I'm pretty sure it was meant to be played in 30C temperatures. Those big guys will be collapsing in this heat.

"Superb game unlike the earlier dross. Proud with effort, no bottle job. The ABs turned up with their A game, so fair play to them."

Re: Rugby World Cup
"the problem england's got and it's just my opinion, but someone like arundell should be in the team or at least on the bench. him & smith are game changers, but I think he's gone too safe with daly & may. I'd also rather have ford at 10, but clearly 'son of andy' is the golden boy and calls the shots"
Re: Rugby World Cup
The All Blacks defence was immense this evening. France can take them as they are the most creative in attack but I am not sure anyone else can. Having said that the Saffers might be able to beat France up front.
Re: Rugby World Cup
"As a NZ-er by birth I was sweating towards the end there. The Blacks should beat Argentina on Friday, and then I'd rather they play France again than South Africa. So tomorrow it's Allez les Bleus!"

Re: Rugby World Cup
Before the tournament started I backed NZ to win it outright. Up to tonight NZ were pretty dire. I watched them v France & they were lucky not to lose by 20+. They were awful. I was still looking for 'green-shoots' in the other group games & there were very few positives. NZ looked terrible except for a very exuberant haka Don't know where that performance came from tonight. Well done to NZ .... & my poxy judgement.

"Is the qualification to play for Ireland the same as it was in football under Jack Charlton? ie you own an Irish terrier, or once went to a Riverdance concert. Do they still allow NZ to do that gay dance before the kick off?"

Re: Rugby World Cup
There is a huge gap in quality between this game (IRL v NZ) & the earlier one (Wales v ARG)
