If i met Manwell wouldnt matter what his opinion was I'd think what a cսnt he was"

"Fonz I have a closed mind on Soucek it’s true. 2 years watching him struggle to keep pace and misplace passes or hardly touch the ball imo has fueled this. But I might be wrong and am on many things. Can you or someone describe exactly what we missed against Everton? What would Soucek have done to open up a well drilled, physical , deep lying team that imo needed width and pace to undo. He might have got on the end of a set piece although unlikely imo as Tarkowski , Braithwaite, etc absolutely dominate aerially ? It’s not personal, I could be wrong . What would or does Soucek bring ? He does run around chasing shadows ( unkind ) so perhaps if he was sat deep , as we will see against Brentford with Alvarez out, he could help ? That’s about it isn’t it ? Please enlighten me :-)"

Chris Sutton is not a prick at all. He actually is a very decent chap. I know this from people I know that have met him. I actually think that he and Robbie Savage should be working on Sky Sports.

"What on earth makes anyone think we'll win this? Frank routinely embarrasses Moyes and we've got two of our best players out. 70% sure we'll lose this, 25% Draw. A win would be a freak result given past results."

Sir Alf 6:03 Fri Nov 3 I know you have a certain dislike for Soucek but I thought we missed him against Everton and for me he has to start against Brentford.

"easthammer 2:01 Fri Nov 3 I like this team. I thought the Greek was excellent against Arsenal and deserves a start. We will then have 2 ball playing cb's, with Aguerd being the other one and an extra body there which will allow the full backs to push up and provide some width. I am predicting a 1-2 West Ham win. Bown and Kudus with the goals."

"Manuel - exactly, and I'm sure I've heard him Co commente our games criticising the way we play.. He then goes on to say a routine win for Brentford, ignoring the fact that our aquad must have cost at least three times what theirs has yet Moyes is doing such a great job."

"I despite that cսnt Sutton and all the usual Moyes fan club within the game, even Simon Jordan has been bigging him up this week. I have a kind of rule which is to never tell fans of a club what they should or shouldn't be saying about their club, as they know what is going on day to day, rather than just seeing results and bits and pieces in the media. If I met say a Palace fan and he was of sound mind and seemed knowledgeable, and I said to him Hodgson has been doing a good job, and he said to me no not really he's a cսnt and most want him out, I'd say fair enough with the knowledge that he knows a lot more than me about what is going on. If Moyes does go anytime soon we know what will be coming our way from the usual be careful what you wish for brigade. Sick of it."

"Chris Sutton what a prick Whenever West Ham lose a couple of games, you hear the usual rumblings from the same old people, asking if manager David Moyes should still be in the job. It drives me potty. Moyes has done brilliantly and a spell of poor form doesn't change that I suppose he'd say the same if Chelsea lose 20 games this season. Or constant spells of poor form for 2 years.."

"The fragile ego of Moyes and his eagerness of to bomb Downes out of the club ( because he was brought in via Warbarton ) overlooked the fact we only have one out and out defensive midfielder. Soucek and JWP will not be winning any battles in that area Imo As some have suggested, give Kehrer a go there. He’s quick, can press and puts in a challenge ( albeit rash at times ) but the thought of Tommy being a “piggy in the middle”for Brentfords midfield to toy with makes me shudder. —————— Areola —— Stavros Zouma Aguerd Coufal ————————— Emerson ———— Kehrer —— JWP Kudos —— Bowen ———- Benny Will never happen. Moyes is nothing if not predictable and insane ( does same thing over and over and expects a different result ) ——————Areola Coufal Zouma Aguerd Emerson ———— Soucek —— JWP Bowen — Kudos —— Fornals ————— Antonio ————"

"Can't say I'm confident, we struggle against this lot, or you could say Moyes struggles against Frank, they are in a good run of form also. Still, at least it's a 3pm Sat game. The pressure on Moyes is slightly less after the Arsenal win, but only slightly, and he needs something here."

"Ah, the twice a season opportunity to see Frank absolutely roast Moyes tactically with a vastly inferior team. Brilliant. He might have to work slightly harder this time because Moyes cant put out his tried and tested team and formation that has failed many times before and probably doesn't have a clue what team he's even putting out yet. Either way I expect Frank to suss it within five mins and we'll get our usual poor result. WHAT A SEASON! MOYES IN."

Of course you can - all you need to do is cough up and get a decent litigation team onto it.

Both Alvarez and Paqueta are suspended for some of the most absurd yellows I've ever seen. Don't get why the club hasn't appealed at least some of them. Because you can't.

I think Moyes will revert to a back 3 with wing backs . Less risky than a midfield pairing of soucek and JWP. neither are defensive midfielders . Hopefully Bowen and kudus get paired up top together in that system. Closest we'd see to TC and Frankie Mac .
