West Ham United is delighted to confirm the signing of England midfielder Kalvin Phillips on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season. The 28-year-old joins the Hammers from Manchester City and could make his debut in Thursday’s Premier League fixture with AFC Bournemouth at London Stadium.

"When's this mythical game he's suddenly going to come good? Already 4 games in now, banned from playing our next game, as he is also not allowed to play in our last game of the season against his parent Club, City. He can't even make a decent impression against the likes of Forest and Bournemouth, he's that shit."

"I think he'll be a good player for us. I quite like his no nonsense attitude. A bit awful at the moment, have to agree."

Moved to City just for the money very happy to sit on the bench and get paid get fat and get lazy. Yes its all about the money but why would someone (many even) who no doubt whole life has been trying to make it in the football world would be happy doing nothing for a year and half at such a age in his career just take that attitude.

"Fuck knows what game you were watching, Alf? As he was his usual woeful self running around like a headless chicken chasing shadows making very little impact, that is until he got hismelf (rightly) sent off. He's been nothing short of being a disaster in every game on a scale not seen since probably Gary fucking Breen."

"He actually was ok today or at least hes getting better. Winning the ball, passing better and looking stronger. Ironically led to his booking and sending off but as mentioned on another thread did he actually catch Gibbs White as it looked like the latter kicked his underside boot?"

His contribution in each of the 3 games he's played in are two errors leading to goals and a sending off. Good value eh?

"Blatantly on his 3rd Happy Meal already straight after the game to help cheer himself up knowing he's now got to sit out a game. But listen, it's only a matter of time before he gets up to speed..."

"In many ways this whole debacle sums up Moyes, loan out Downes who was desperate to do well for us and bring in this disaster who he chased for 3 years, spending half a mil a week in the process. He will come good? Don't be fucking ridiculous, the weasel doesn't offer anything. Send the cսnt back to Manchester or leave him in Nottingham."

Said before he was to Rice for England the equivalent of Danny Drinkwater to Ngolo Kante at Leicester. Imagine if we were sitting here with an obligation to buy him for £50m odd in the summer? COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS In (not a lot of) hindsight should have recalled OUR PLAYER Flynn Downes and avoided this bloke like the plague Has probably hurt his Euro chances more by actually playing than sitting on his arse at City

Correction- *Moyes was desperate to sign him. The Club were never keen to buy him outright and there's a good reason he's only on Loan and without an option to buy.....

"apparently this useless cսnt, with all fees and wages added up, is costing us close to half a million a week. that alone should be a sacking offence, not to mention the millions lost on fornals, benrahma, etc. the Teflon jock cսnt"

"Slow, unless and reckless. Amongst a sea of fans and pundits alike enjoying a Phillips wank-a-thon over his elusive talent, I was 1 of the few that called him out as being mainly dogshit. A handful of half decent games didn't fool me he's a quality Premier League player and you'd think after being found out and then called out by Guardiola for being a fat unprofessional kid people would have wised up. Well maybe people will now after his hopefully very short lived West Ham career. Fuck him right off!"

"I mean, he’s absolutely shit isn’t he? Take out his mistakes, what is he standout good at? Not a good defensive midfielder, slow, can’t shoot, can’t tackle, not a good box to box player, average passer. Not strong. What did Moyes see in him? Just that he gets picked for England where Rice carries him?"

"Kalamity Phillips would have had more chance making the England squad in the summer, by sitting on Man City’s bench."

My first post in this thread was this signing was a strange one unless we got a winger and a striker. So I was right. But Moyes is all about defence. Problem is he doesn't know how do defend anymore either.

A brilliant well done to the owners and manager for bringing in an absolutely uninterested cսnt

What a fucking brilliant signing he’s turning out to be. Well fucking done to all at the club who worked hard to bring him here. What excellent judgement all round.
