Well seems like with all these international breaks, and us languishing, the rumours of ins and outs are rife.
Chuck anything 'worthy' of discussion on this thread...

We're being primed for the drop. So that will mean a Jordan Hugill type of deal. ie Josh Sargent.!
COYI.
Well. Who would Adam and Eve it.? Sorry folks. We’re already gone. The rest is noise.!

Hayden Hackney at Boro and Jack Rudoni at Coventry are the two best players in the Championship. Both midfielders the first one is box to box and the second is more attacking.
Hackney is from Redcar and Rudoni from Carshalton - he started out at Wimbledon. It's a shame that we'll probably miss out on them due to far more urgent priorities.
We need a striker though...two strikers even - one a left sided forward that cuts in at the very least.

Paper talk probably bollocks about Conor Gallagher
If Atletico Madrid wanted to do a swap for Paqueta he’d be more use in a relegation scrap

Is Sargent premier league standard?
Joined Norwich when they were plummeting out of the league & scored 2 in 26 in a terrible team
Has played 3 and a bit Championship seasons since scoring around 50 league goals in 113 league games
The only strikers who have done anything in recent years for us … Ashton , Antonio plus Bowen if you want to call him a striker .. have come from the Championship
The massive failures have been from European leagues. Zaza, Scamacca, Haller, Fullkrug etc

Being linked with the lad from Coventry as well (Haji Wright). Only seen brief highlights, but looks like someone that would be worth having....although strikers from the Championship rarely make good transitions to the Prem it feels.

It’s an upgrade!
Replacing a 30 something year old injury prone striker with a younger injury prone striker.

We’re being heavily linked with Josh Sargent from Norwich City, with us paying £15-17m for the forward. His stats aren’t exactly prolific, and he seems to have missed a lot of games in the last few years. Not exactly exciting.
Apparently the yanks think he's fucking toilet as are all their front line options and he's down their pecking order, has scored once since August..

"Sullivan ain't putting money into saving our Premiership status."
How many more times. The monies Sullivan (or anybody else) can put in to the club are very limited and constrained by PSR.
I'd settle for no money from him and for him to sell up.
Well that's partly correct.
Based on the current financial landscape of the Premier League and West Ham United's specific situation as of late 2024/early 2025, the short answer is no, it is not strictly true.
While Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) do limit how much money a club can lose, West Ham United is currently in a financial position where David Sullivan (or other investors) could invest more money if they chose to. The claim that they are "constrained by PSR" is viewed by many financial experts as a negotiation tactic or a business choice, rather than a hard regulatory ban.
In other words. Sullivan doesn't want to invest into West ham with his own funds.
This is why he is hated, and has to be flogged out. Dead or alive!
Well, let's wait and see, when last season's accounts are released. Legally due by the end of February, but generally released any time between now and mid January.

Sullivan couldn't even afford a packet of fruit salads.
he'll probably stump-up for a couple of black-jacks, you never know, he could put in a bid for Bazooka Joe, you know he loves a duff & injury prone striker.

Sullivan can walk away from us tonight. And still come away in the money from owning us. These past 15 years. He ain't willing to pump more money into us.(Just to be here again next year. And so on.) Sure we are going to hear a lot of lip service over the next few weeks. Few outs. (Possibly a big name.?)A few in. A future prospect punt. And a PR line pumped out by The Usual Suspects. "Look it ain't us. We are at least putting some money in.! Best blame it on the body in the Dug Out.!" And we will limp on until confirmation of relegation .Sometime in early Spring. Where's it will be announced. The entire SPIV clan are selling out. To some Dude Bro Yank Hedge fund. Who already has in place a deal for the OS.? Either Way.
Sullivan ain't putting money into saving our Premiership status. Because we are being Primed For The Drop.!

Nah, his greed is too great for him to accept anything less than top dollar. He's not selling if we go down. He's not going to settle for (for example- I'm not trying to put accurate numbers here) 500 million if in the premier league he could get 750 million. He will fork out because we're in dire straits (of his own making) in order to take more. I'd bet all he's waiting for is to get his own hands on the stadium to make even more dough, then he's not going to be seen for dust. I don't believe we're being 'primed for the drop' at all. That's just silly. Our situation is not by design, it's by incompetence.

Just overheard some transfer chat on Talksport with some European specialist of some nature. He reckons Promise David to West Ham won't happen as he's destined for a bigger club. That's a mark of our standing in the eyes of the footballing world

Mark Noble has been in Belgium trying to complete a deal for Nigerian Enforcer Tochukwu Nnadi
Apparently a fee of just 3.5 million has been agreed now with Belgium club SV Zulte Waregem and the player will sign a 5 year contract in January with the hammers

Sullivan doesn't care about West Ham. He care's about his money. And how he can make more of it. Without spending any of it.
"Primed For The Drop.!"
Well in that case I’d suggest he does what he can to keep us up because getting relegated will cost him a fuck of a lot more.

With Sullivan in charge, he'll hedge his bets like he always does in this situation.
Maybe the odd highly rated championship player as insurance if we drop (think Bowen in 2020) alongside some experienced players who are available
And that is what will cost us our premier league status. If he doesn’t fully listen to Nuno and give him the players he needs and goes into business for himself as usual, we will be gone.
