I've barely got the energy to write this but it's the Cup...we'll inevitably not try very hard, but it's a somewhat welcome distraction.
They have a striker we were interested in...Richard Kone...who no doubt will upstage the 50m we have just spent.

Another bloodbath incoming! Rangers will be bang up for this and our arseholes have fallen out. Will be lucky to get to Penalties let alone a comfortable win
Where the fuck have you appeared from? 4 posts all fucking negative. I hate whinging new posters, at least earn the right to moan.
Thanks for the warm welcome! If only we were playing like Brazil 1970 and would have something a bit more positive to add! I will turn my negativity on the Beckham thread now! ⚒

I hope we pick a team which includes youth and experience. My team ( but not Nunos) would be:
Hermansen
KWP Igor Todibo Mayers
Soucek Magassa
Fernades
Taty Pablo Sumerville
Given this looks like being the round for the underdogs we might just win

I think just 2 years ago Bristol City I think but seems like ages and I don't think I went.
It does! Of course we lost didn’t we? I didn’t go to that one so god knows the last time I went to a home cup game. Did we lose to Blackburn in the FA cup or the league cup?
League Cup, we lost the replay to Bristol... Bowen scored 4th minute looked like we were gonna slaughter them, same as it always was.. Which is why I must be mad to be looking forward to it... Never learn..
yeah it’s bonkers isn’t it. We never make it easy. I remember the Kidderminster game a few years ago. We were DIRE.
Leeds in 2022 the last home FA cup game before Bristol that I can see. Three home FA cup games in four years. That seems insane for a premier league club. That combo of being shit and drawn away the majority of the time.

I saw Baldrick going in to the LS for the Bristol game. Didn’t know he was a fan of theirs. Was gonna do the replay, so glad I didn’t.

Looking forward to tomorrow too. Partly the old skool London opposition. Could be a good atmosphere for once.
As sacrilegious as it may be, after hearing that Nuno may be sacked if we lose to Tottenham, I hoping we lose. Taken a dislike to that prick.

I'm quite looking forward to going over there tomorrow, must be mad but feels like ages since I've been to an FA cup game, still has someagic for me...
Same here, first FA Cup game in donkeys years and I'm looking forward to it despite all the negativity around the club at the moment.

Nothing mad about looking forward to the FA cup Fraser.
The 3rd round is always a highlight of a truly depressing time of the year (this one being even worse). I always want us to do well in this competition, regardless of what we’re doing in the league. It’s a London derby, bragging rights at stake, even if we are in different divisions (at the moment).
It would be nice to go into the derby next week with a bit of a spring in our step, even if it doesn’t last.
3-0

QPR have the best player in the Championship (Ilias CHAIR) , but he is out injured.
Having said that, today they absolutely STOLE Ronnie EDWARDS from Saints for five Million...
Classy Rolls - Royce England u - 20 defender ; A better player than Kilman
.
Now a broken Chair. Let me guess, he broke a leg?
We’ve got an 18 year-old defender who, with the right coaching (key), will be a better player than Kilman in a year’s time.
We’ve set a stunningly low benchmark for measuring defenders with Kilman.
I'm got a rocking chair that's a better defender than Kilman.

Enjoy 30 minute’s worth of football as entertainment by watching Big Match highlights of West Ham vs QPR in the 1975 FA Cup 5th Round.
Upton Park, muddy pitch, open game, both teams pushing forward trying to win. Proper tackles, Phil Parkes in goal for QPR, Keith Robson manhandling the referee, no VAR, no match stifling tactics, no play acting or simulation.

Soucek and capt? Do fuck off
The same Czech National Captain and former League winning Slavia Prague Captain who even did it in the Champions League against quality opposition (drawing against Barcelona including peak Messi at Nou Camp and Inter Milan San Siro) and someone who puts their body on the line everytime he puts the shirt on, that Captain material? I can think of a lot worse in this current Squad set-up than him. Including Bowen.
ag ag ag ag You've pushed his buttons there! You're both right but in a properly run club it wouldn't be a discussion. We're stuck with a choice between a bloke who is proper captain material but not skilful or young enough to warrant an automatic start and a brilliant player who no real man would ever tolerate being told off by. What a mess!

Think that sums it up why we are going down : they can bring on Hudson-Odoi we would bring on Soucek.
I thought the same thing. He cost them 5 mil and is arguably better than anything we have, at least this season. When the line up's come out for the Forest game I thought they are simply a better side than us.
As for this game, we badly need a win and a cup run could lift some spirits. Expecting a strong side, whatever that is. QPR are shit.
2-0

Loss. Because of leaky defence. Especially if Todibo is rested.
