"Making a few today and aren't able to download 16.1 as all links seem dead. As these sticks are going abroad maybe 17 is the best idea, but it just looks awful. Anyone had any luck installing a fresh build to make it a bit more user friendly? I love pulse lite, and the mimic theme which I have basically adapted to add my own links/categories etc. Something similar/minimalistic wold be best imo."

"I came in at v15.2 ,then moved on to v16 then on to v16.1 None of these upgrades were complicated or time- consuming I spent ages looking at v17 which got accidentally installed on my tablet & quite honestly couldn't make head or tale of it! I tried unsuccessfully to install Wookie as a starting point as I thought I might be able to find my way from there In the end & after much trying I gave up, uninstalled v17 & re-installed v16.1 I'm dreading the time when I have to change"

"I have no idea Northern, I'm still on 16.1. I just checked into SN to see if it had been sorted. Eventually I will need to upgrade because there's no support for anything before v15 probably but for now it's all good. v17 is radically different in look though so some may want to embrace the future now to get used to it before they have to as when v18 gets a release probably the v16's will not be supported but who knows?"

"Apparently the issue with Sportsnation HD/Mania on kodi 17.0 has been sorted. Apparently this works: Click settings from home screen in Kodi 17 Select system settings Select add ons Click on updates. You get three options Select middle one - Notify, but don't install updates Install SN as normal from zip file. Then if you wish go back to the updates and change back to auto update you can Plus is anyone having trouble with exodus today? There's nothing in mine, I'm guessing it's just time to do a fresh install, I normally do a fresh kodi install every few months. Which if you only run a couple of addons is pretty easy!"

"Al Jolson 7:07 Sun Feb 26 Al - if you've got a PC/laptop then install Kodi on that to begin with. Learn how to install add-ons - find the streams content that you want. Once you've got the hang of it, then go out and buy a dedicated box to run Kodi on. DON'T buy a loaded box, but install the add-ons yourself - or install Wookie-shite if you can't even be bothered to do that. As others have said - there's no such thing as a jailbroken Amazon Fire stick - and a Fire TV rather than a stick is much better value for money and you don't have to use WiFi which is a main source of buffering problems."
