Save yourself £35 and buy the stick from Argos. You don't need to jailbreak it.

"mike hunt 7:43 ~ Yes I know that The system I'm on (Droidsmart Wizard) is compatible with v16 (& 16.1) Jarvis but NOT compatible with v17 Krypton Therefore, IF I had to use v17 (which I now don't, thanks to Cough) then I would have to use a compatible wizard. I've tried Wookie previously so I would probably use that I have to admit I'm not sold (no pun intended mate!) on the somewhat garish artwork but if it does the job I'd live with it In the meantime, long live v16.1 Jarvis"

Thanks again Cough. Found it & all sorted! I really hope v16.1 is available for a long time as v17 seems terribly complicated where v16.1 is very user friendly If I ever get forced into using v17 I'll probably be joining Northern Sold's Wookie army! I noticed that they have a Krypton version available (even though I couldn't get it to work though I'm sure it does!)

"I had a problem with my SD card on my tablet & had to re-format it Needless to say I lost my Kodi app in the process No problem I thought, I'll just re-install it from the Kodi website (older version v16.1), which I did Setting it up with Droidsmart wizard as usual (which takes fcuking ages with our slow broadband & I had to try a couple of times because of that) Eventually, got everything set up nicely the way I like it (deleting off most of the addons & programmes I don't use & changing the backgrounds) Then comes the sickener! A few hours after getting everything set up I noticed something downloading from the icon in the corner of the screen Kodi ""update"". Before I could stop it v17 had installed! As far as I'm aware the Droidsmart wizard doesn't work with v17, apart from which v17 looks incredibly complicated. I don't like the look of it one bit I thought I'd try to install Wookie-Lite on it but although after several attempts I got Wookie wizard on (which is a 2 second job on v16) I just could not get any of the Wookie builds to install In the end I gave up & uninstalled Kodi v17 & re-installed v16.1 Everything is back to normal now but I'm just hoping my tablet doesn't download any more updates for Kodi. There must be some way to stop that happening? v17 looks like a total nightmare!"

Got myself a Fire TV yesterday and have stuck Kodi on it. I can see the appeal. Question: I've had a Plex Server running for a while now. What's the best way of integrating it with Kodi? Should I just add all my media via Kodi AND have the Plex add-on? Or just use Plex for local media and then Exodus etc for streams? Only just started and want to make it easy enough for the missus to use (she's used to Plex).
