"Yet you’re claiming I’m an idiot for stating the obvious that if I don’t want the Kremlin to win, Ukraine has to. Another obvious thing is you’re not only a moral disaster, Twundle. You’re a cognitive one as well."

"To be fair to Sold0, he may have a very unhealthy obsession with war porn (specifically footage of russians getting blown to pieces) but I've never seem him suggest Ukraine will actually win (like the idiots Capitol They and Hamas & Pickled)."

Re: The war in Ukraine
Why thanks for the compliments Comrade Sockski... Oh I said all along there would be no winner or loser... well after the first couple of weeks when your mighty Russian army didn't carry out the objectives set by the despot... what I am getting at and I shall spell it out for you... if you think things are going so swimmingly for your mighty Russian hordes... why conscript Nepalese .... Indians.... and the vast majority of these have joined on the pretence of being nowhere near the front line... three weeks training and they are in a trench getting vaporised by drones... also the alteration in conscript ages... why change if it's all going so swimmingly well?? Lets be honest here you take all your media from Ivan state news... just as the vast majority of us take our news stories from Western sources... mainly.... as we are ... errr... western... well some of us are anyway...

"Northern Sold 1:33 Wed Apr 10 Only just saw this marvellous post of yours. I speed read what appears to be a breathless paragraph of pantwetting ""muh russia, nepal, india, muh russia, orange man touched my willy"" type stuff. What is the point you are trying to make? Is it that Russia actually losing? Is it that Russia is using foreign soldiers? Is it that Russia is using soldiers that are too young and too old?"

Re: The war in Ukraine
Ahhhhh look all of Putin's foot soldiers have reared their heads above their corpse lined trenches.... `As Ukraine runs out of troops and has reduced the conscription age from 27 to 25` So what is Ivan doing then Rio when going cap in hand to Nepal and India?? They run out of troops or just happy wasting them and Siberians on the front line?? Also Ivan has raised the age of conscription from 27 to 30... so they are going the other way are they as they have run out of Russians from the age of 18-27?? Works both ways... and regarding your conscientious objector MATE or family member.... happened in every war ... plenty of conscientious objectors Ivans in 1941-45 ... only they got a bullet in their head from NKVD units... still personally think the vast vast majority of Ukrainians are fighting what they think is a just war... just as if Putin stuck his big toe over on our shores the vast vast majority of Brits would feel and act the same... then again a few on here I reckon would be waving in the T-34's

Re: The war in Ukraine
"Pickle Some ukrainians prefer one kleptocracy to another. Some people see it as US support, some see it as using innocent Ukrainians to fight a US geopolitical rival. If you lived in Ukraine now, you would be exempt from military service, see if you can work out why (see my earlier post)"

Re: The war in Ukraine
I rather enjoyed my life prior to the Berlin Wall coming down and the Iron Curtain being lifted. Perhaps crowd-funding their replacements is the peaceful answer here.

"SBT 2 Do your Ukrainian relatives and friends agree they and their country should be left to the tender mercies of the Kremlin kleptocracy, which is what a lack of US support effectively means?"

Re: The war in Ukraine
"Northern Sold 1:44 Tue Apr 9 I seem to have skipped past this insightful question from Northern Freud. I have a relative who signed up very early on. He has had several operations on his foot and is hors combat (has been for months). he is an ethnic Russian who happily joined the fight for Ukraine and obviously is against the Russian invasion. He was born and grew up in Ukraine and has lived their all his life. A friend of my family who was conscripted is an ethnic ukrainian, served for over 18 months and legged it to Norway just before Christmas while he was on leave at the earliest opportunity he could. He wants nothing to do with it anymore."

Re: The war in Ukraine
So to sum this up: why would you like Ukraine to accept the Kremlin’s terms for peace (whatever they may be) right now? Could you perhaps take this as an invitation to express your authentic political voice as if it meant anything at all?

Re: The war in Ukraine
"Sometimes all you need is one story to tell you what is really going on. No goats, snakes, ghosts or jars of pickles this time. As Ukraine runs out of troops and has reduced the conscription age from 27 to 25, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) has made a group of essential workers exempt from conscription. I'll send a special edition Soldo tufty badge to anybody who can guess which group of workers that have been exmepted."
