Well it's a fast turnaround for this one. After a hard fought, but somewhat disappointing point at Old Trafford, we head to the south coast for an arguably more difficult looking game on paper.
Brighton have been a bogey side since they arrived in the division, as well as being the envy of many fans for their progressive owner and stellar recruitment model.
Teamwise, Nuno gets to 'bring' Paqueta back (I won't use the term 'welcome'), and the messaging around Summerville remains opaque at best. Plus as to what happened to Guilherme who knows, but with both him and Igor missing we went from a squad of 3 Braziliians to none versus Man Utd in one fell swoop.
This leaves at least a decision around Soucek, but if Summerville (or Guilherme) were to be available, another decision around 2 of 3 from Fernandes, Magassa, and Potts.
Predicted Lineup
I'm working on the basis that Paqueta will come back in, and Summerville will at best be fit for the bench:
Areola
Wan Bissaka Mavropanos Todibo Diouf
Magassa Potts
Bowen Paqueta Fernandes
Wilson
Subs: Hermansen, Kilman, KWP, Irving, Kante, Earthy, Guilherme, Summerville, Marshall
Predicted Score: Brighton 2 - 1 West Ham
Brighton remain high up in the current form table, scoring twice as many as they concede. West Ham are midtable over the last 5 games, are at a scoring ratio of roughly 1:1.
Hard to see anything but a defeat here, but we have a punchers chance (all be it, the blows themselves are fairly lightweight and will need to find the Brighton chin with surgical precision to knock them out).

We had 70% pass completion the other day, not exactly keeping the ball is it.
Paqueta is at 79% how does he bring it down?
If you're going to drop percentages quote a source so they can be easily checked. I'm not wasting my time searching or taking your word for it.
I Googled it took seconds... Our pass completion rate against Man U was poor just look on the match post on the BBC has all the stats but if you're too lazy to do what took me seconds so be it.
Paqueta pass completion is all you need to ask... Like I said seconds.
Oh and why would I make it up when it can be so easily checked

Paqueta just needs to play more for the team. Release it earlier and get his decision making right on when to hit one of those dinked/lofted balls over the top or a threaded ball when he’s crowded out. Nothing wrong with a simple 5 yard ball sometimes to keep possession rather than the “Hollywood pass” all the time.
Mate he's 28 years old and been with us for three and a half years, its not gonna happen.
Exactly, if it looks like a showboating cսnt, acts like a showboating cսnt and plays like a showboating cսnt after nearly 4 year you should have worked out it's a showboating cսnt.

Would like to see Earthy given minutes as I think he is closest to breaking thru although Kante’s sheer physicality obviously means aint too far away either.

Ideally we would have someone ready to step in but our squad is so flimsy that we almost have to start him or its one of the kids. Paqueta is strong on shielding the ball and in the air. Id stick him out wide right in the role Soucek filled and let Fernandes operate more centrally where he is more effective. But Paqueta is just one of those prima donnas and simply thinks he’s better than he is and managers seem to buy into his reputation ( Brazilian international who occasionally produces moments of re quality). Cannot see Summerville starting so it will he same team imo but with Paq replacing Soucek

Let's hope we don't go in 1-0 up at half time as we know the cowardly surrender monkey (no it's not racist its a term coined about the French and yes I know he,s not French, right thats that covered) will then sub Wilson for a centre back and try and hold on. Still fuming he did that on Thursday after we equalised and had the Manc cunts on the ropes.
Nonut's patented half time surrender. Can't fucking wait to see that again.
i didn't get it either. We looked so much more comfortable pushing forward and trying to attack and actually had a couple of half chances to snatch it. As soon as we sit deep and try to defend we look vulnerable and could have thrown it away

No we've won 2 of our last 5 he played in 3 of them 2 which we won one which we lost the other 2 we didn't win.
And over the last year rather than the last few?
I've no idea, but surely recent form is more relevant we've won 2 out of 3 he's played in and drawn the 2 he hasn't... Plus he has a higher ball retention than the whole team did Thursday so can't be accused of lowering it when he starts, I bet his ball retention is at least 20% better than Soucek... Oh and he had our best defensive stats this season and he's equal top scorer which of course all points to his inclusion weakening is.
If Soucek had half of Crapaqueta's abilty he'd be talked about for generations because he grafts and puts the team first, unlike the other cսnt.

Only one selection question here isn't there?
If Summerville is fit I'd put him in instead of Soucek.
If he isn't, maybe give Earthy or Kante a go.
Paqueta shouldn't walk back into the team.
Isn't it a fact that over the last year or so we've been a lot more effective in terms of getting results when he doesn't play/start, than when he does?

Agree, Earthy probably deserves a go more than Guilherme, he looked really comfortable before his injury.

Regardless of whether Paqueta is or isn’t one of our more talented players, the fact is he wants away either next month or in 25 games time, we better get used to playing without him sooner rather than later and that can only be achieved one way. Our midfield didn’t look bad against the mancs. Jimmy or Guilherme for Soucek though.
That's ridiculous, lots of clubs have players that won't be with them next season.. You don't leave them out when you're paying for them for half a season.. That's what pre season is for... Maybe we shouldn't have played Rice when we knew he was going for a whole season.

Agree, we should stick with same midfield as the other day. Fed up of Paqueta losing possession and play acting.

Nonuts will parachute Crapaqueta straight back into the team, our ball retention will tank as the overhyped showboat cսnt gives it away with reckless abandon. The diving will go up a level as the self obsessed twat tries to demonstrate the conspiracy against him. That'll probably cost us a goal as it usually does.
Morale will be in the shitter as the ball keeps coming straight back at us, it'll be more unwatchable backs to the wall shite.
1 shot on target if we're lucky.
All because Nonuts just has to pick the cսnt.

Basically just a wind up cսnt. Doesn't need psycho-analysing...his posts aren't funny, but his persona amuses me.
Find it remarkable at times people have the energy to keep up this kind of schtick on this kind of platform. I guess whatever floats your boat.
