Hamas attack Israel
"Or should i say they are attacking to get THEIR land back. Good luck to them. The World will watch and do nothing to help them as they always do, shame on us."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
Maybe if Israel gave back the land they have stolen it might help. The repercussions will be more terrorist attacks in Europe as well. Why pay for what Irsrael and their sponors the US are dolng? Get the UN in and create a dialogue.

"Hasn't Israel told them they should leave? And hasn't Hamas told them to stay? And where would they go, seeing as not even the arab countries close to them want them either?"

Re: Hamas attack Israel
Gaza strip has a population of around 2 million. 50% of which are children. Surely America/the west are leaning on Israel to do the right thing and at least allow women and children to leave before they go in.

"Willtell, possibly because the Houtis in Yemen have said they will reignite the war there, (dependant) on what happens with Gaza, which will then affect SA, the UAE and Bahrain and shipping in the Arabian Sea."

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Willtell 11:04 Wed Oct 11 I just hope, for the sake of the Iranian people, that their country does not become a target; their administration clearly feels that their ""just cause"" is far superior to the lives of their people and will willingly push them under the bus/bomb/rocket to prove it - a bit like some on here believe that their opinion on a subject under discussion is more important than the subject itself."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Fonz you say Israel have told the Palestinians to leave Where do u suggest they go ? All borders are closed, theres no water or electricity plus no food is being allowed in. As nato have said Israel have to open a humanitarian border for the non hamas Israelis to leave. Thence theyve left by all means smash the fuck outof the hamas scum"
Re: Hamas attack Israel
"I had noticed in the original BBC reports that an aircraft carrier was headed that way. I guess they wouldn't say if it was say 6 warships would they? No need to. An American carrier, won't travel unescorted. It will be accompanied by cruisers, destroyers and frigates. A typical carrier battle group will have 5 escorts, and a supply ship. Sometimes a nuke sub as well,"

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Wiki Atrocity propaganda : is the spreading of information about the crimes committed by an enemy, which can be factual, but often includes or features deliberate fabrications or exaggerations. This can involve photographs, videos, illustrations, interviews, and other forms of information presentation or reporting. The inherently violent nature of war means that exaggeration and invention of atrocities often becomes the main staple of propaganda.Patriotism is often not enough to make people hate the enemy, and propaganda is also necessary.’So great are the psychological resistances to war in modern nations"", wrote Harold Lasswell, ""that every war must appear to be a war of defense against a menacing, murderous aggressor. There must be no ambiguity about who the public is to hate."" Human testimony may be unreliable even in ordinary circumstances, but in wartime, it can be further muddled by bias, sentiment, and misguided patriotism."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
Solid bond Don't want my post to be forgotten about. Genuinely interested to see the other point of view and what makes you think Israel have or will commit a genocide. And more importantly if you support Hamas?
Re: Hamas attack Israel
Mike Oxsaw Yes but when my sister told me this last night she said that several American warships are headed for the Middle East. I had noticed in the original BBC reports that an aircraft carrier was headed that way. I guess they wouldn't say if it was say 6 warships would they? My nephew is no longer in the military but is a federal agent after years working his way through NCIS believe it or not. It really does exist! I just wondered whether America is looking for a chance to sort Iran out as they are apparently behind this Hamas attack.

"Willtell 10:37 Wed Oct 11 Maybe the Americans did know but decided that the chance to build and sell (even) more weapons to grow the economy was just too strong to resist and held the information back. Even if senior politicians in other countries did inform Israel, I'm virtually certain that they would have only stepped up their security had the US corroborated those, what were, at the time, rumours."

"collyrob 10:20 Wed Oct 11 Could that be because the WHO, the Health Service and all the people with responsible jobs and an education are convenient bad guys while the religious nutjob regime in Tel Aviv is perfectly entitled to break pretty every much every human rights convention or standard under the sun? You know it makes sense."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
An interesting fact came out last night. My sister has lived in America more than 50 years and one of her sons is a very senior federal agent with the navy. He was called into action on 5th October and said that they had made the world a safer place was all he would say. I am sure this was well before the attack happened so if America knew then so did Israel surely? Conspiracy theorists fill your boots...

Re: Hamas attack Israel
"Nothing will satisfy me, for one, short of the complete destruction of Hamas. If that means the destruction of Gaza so be it. The news that emerged last night was stomach churning and the last straw for me. Forget moral equivocation - this is a binary choice and I know who side I'm on."
Re: Hamas attack Israel
Seems like snagging a few American citizens for ransom is en vogue right now. I wonder why these fucktard backward primitive Arabs would get the idea that American hostages = Billions of Dollars.
Re: Hamas attack Israel
A genocide suggests wiping out a population. I suggest you look up population statistics in Gaza and see that it is one of the highest growing populations in the world. I struggle to see the comparison between Hamas literally killing babies and beheading them for the world to see with what Israel does. Israel warns the civilians to get out if they are taregting a Hamas target Iin their building block. I would like to understand why you think Israel commit genocide and kill babies intentionally?
