"Takashi Miike 4:14 Wed Dec 9 ""Ted, give the prison drama OZ a go. you should be able to find it, it can be pretty raw at times but it's very good"" Second this. Get ready to see Christopher Meloni (thought I have heard Happy takes him places as well) and J.K. Simmons in a new light. Even Luke Perry from 90210 is an interesting Christ character. Tom Fontana goes a bit surreal as his shows near their end. Fontana and Simon together in Homicide: Life on the Street is another recommendation. Network precursor to The Wire."

Mike 3 or 4 for me. but that's not to say the other 3 are excellent. First episode was a slow burner - Mrs Sarge didn't want to watch any more - I was hooked from the second episode. Really high quality stuff

"We finished the ""Crown"" last night yes we enjoyed it and will look forward to series 5 in 2022 thought they made Charles lok more of a prick/arsehole than he is and have to agree that Netflix should inform viewers what is fictional So what to watch now ?"

One of those 'must get round to seeing this' series for me has been The Wire. Only started a short while ago - have got the last episode to watch after the Leeds game on Friday night I may be the only one on here who hasn't seen it - but if not - then it's a hell of a good watch.

"Block 8:09 Tue Dec 8 I got lost in Mexico somewhere and have yet to get back to it. Wondering if its worth it, even if it is free to me at this point. I think Kim Dickens is a good actor. Going at least back to - Treme I would that as a recommendation for the thread if you can find it. Along with most of the rest of what David Simon has done."

Murder on Middle Beach is quite captivating. Has to be the teenage daughter who did it maybe with the aunt.

IÔøΩm on episode 6 of series 1, itÔøΩs not great, should I stick with it? Don't know if you've seen the ""Vikings"" but we watched that first and we're now strangely enough watching the last 2 episodes of ""The Last Kingdom"" tonight ! It's a bit farcical in parts but in general we've really enjoyed it so I'd say yes stick with it. ))_____ I think it stands up better than vikings- which really ran out of new stories in the end- big tick for the last kingdom from me"
