There were no protests about moving, nobody was forced to buy a season ticket at the new stadium. The club (as a whole inc the fans) chose to move. They actually did a survey and people wanted to move.

"West Ham's relocation from Upton Park to the Olympic Stadium in Stratford has been backed by 85% of fans in a poll of supporters.Nearly 12,000 Hammers fans took part in the survey conducted by independent pollsters SMG YouGov.
nobody was forced. Those that supported the move did not actively pursue a move, that was the Club not the supporters - you're rewriting both what you said and history too! That poll was done once the decision had already been made the decision wasn't based on the Poll. Even Sullivan himself said that half of the supporters probably don't want to move. The poll was always going to be worded to bend the result as all polls issued by the Club.Nearly nine out of 10 match-going West Ham United supporters oppose the club’s proposed move to the Olympic Stadium according to a supporters’ group. WHU’S VIEW? polled 2,431 fans before the club’s April home games against Birmingham City, Brighton and Hove Albion, and Hull City. The poll asked: “Based on all available information do you agree with West Ham United’s proposed move to the Olympic Stadium?” 13.4% said ‘Yes’, while 86.6% said ‘No’. The results have been sent to the London Legacy Development Corporation, Mayor’s Office, FA, DCMS, and West Ham.You could easily pull apart the scope of the poll and the source............ but its really not worth it.
Its pretty simple - If so many people were forced then where were the protests? where was the outrage? the boycott? none of it happened because most were happy for the club to move forward.
and all of this because you cannot admit that the analogy you posted up was a poor one. you carry on twisting yourself in knots instead of just admitting the analogy doesn't hold. Or you can carry on throwing at insults at anyone who disagrees with you. Take your pick.
i'm fairly confident that when i turn on the news tonight, or read the news online, nobody will be comparing Trumps plan for Gaza to West Ham moving to the olympic stadium.

It doesnt matter how Gaza or The Boleyn had been turned into a shithole it was about being moved against our will and how we reacted to it, obviously on a much smaller scale, to demonstrate how the Palestinians might feel about leaving their home. Even though their home has been bombed to fuck they still are furious at the thought of being forced out. We were annoyed at being forced out and our home wasnt even bombed it was just sold from underneath us!
It was about how we felt - shiny new stadium we should be pleased surely. No we dont want to move, but Green St is a shithole and the stadium is falling down No we still dont want to leave!

Obviously you don’t want the U S, so who Billy?
Howling do you want these people to suffer ffs?
Personally I don’t give a shit, I know one thing the US tax payer ain’t gonna pay for the rebuild, so who Billy?Oh so now you dont want them to suffer having bombed them to oblivion. Thats kind of you.![]()
If you'd actually read what I said resettling the Palestians is not a new or stupid idea. Yes Gaza has been levelled and the ordinary Palestinian should not be living in the rubble of a warzone, nobody should. So offer to resettle them temporarily and rebuild Gaza using the funds from the rich arab states and the US and make Isreal pay reparations. But suggesting that the USA should own Gaza in a land grab force all Palestinians to leave and then to turn it into a billionaires playground of condos probably developed and owned by Trump and his cronies is frankly insulting to all Arabs and can only be an attempt by Trump to get someone else to come up with a more palatable compromise because it is the most ridiculous of suggestions!
Hey I hope thats the outcome and maybe this is just a distraction from the utter chaos of his first 2 weeks in power.
Hey look over there... !!!!!!!!!!So Trump so far is the only one who has come up with a possible solution, while everyone else is sitting on their hands as per. Doesn’t seem like the countries surrounding them care too much to help and Lebanon is 60 % Palestinian apparently, what does that tell you?
Trump, if nothing else has laid the table, now let’s see how much the other Arab nations care to invest in Hamas. I think you’ll find it will probably be the Iranians, only problem is, they’re about to go broke.
personally I think Trump said the U S will take over Gaza to trigger the other nations to finally step up. One tac tic Trump always uses is positioning, he always sets any negotiations up with strong positioning. This is no different.
As I’ve said Hamas attacked Israel, they fucked around and found out, Israel has every right to protect itself and its citizens. So fuck knows why you’d expect Israel to pay a penny towards any rebuild.
Trump has made it clear the U S is no longer gonna be involved in nation rebuilding at the expense of the U S tax payer, so let’s wait and see what happens.
in the mean time we can all sit back and watch them live like rats in the rubble. Let them wallow in prolonged misery and disease, perhaps they’ll think twice next time.
Although if you have nothing to lose then the chances of it happening again will be much higher so not sure that’s the best option.
But it is their rubble so good for them.
And Rubble is what they asked for how fucking stupid.
