"Just finished season 3 of Snowfall, what a great series. Each episode only 44 mins long so no drawn out, boring dialogue, just good honest, fast moving storylines well acted with a superb soundtrack, roll on season 4!"

"jfk 11:40 Tue Jul 7 Porto is a superb city mate, make sure you get there eventually, also do a winery along the Douro Valley. If you can, combine the trip with Lisbon as well. Only a couple of hours on the train."

Not a box set but getting right into Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown on nerflix. A very watchable well travelled chef who tours some of the worlds greatest cities in his own way. I was looking forward to going to Porto this summer(obviously a no go now) but he makes it look a must. A really good travel/cooking presenter well worth a look. RIP

Not a series but Jim Jefferies has a new special dropping on netflix today. If its anything like his standup tour that i went to see in December it's definitely worth watching.

"I agree with manuel. stick with it as mike improves it when he returns, I also agree about the main character being unlikable but I also felt the same way about his brother, though it's probably because of how good the actor is playing him."

"ted - I watched it just recently after finally watching BB last year. I think many have a similar opinion that it's decent but nowhere near as good as BB (but what is?) It's a bit slow moving at first but does get better when Mike, Salamanca, his 2 nephews and Gus come into it, so you learn more about their characters before BB, IMO for that reason alone it is worth watching. The biggest dislike I had is that the Saul's character is an absolute prick most of the time and usually very annoying, so you might have to overcome that. His elder brother, a top lawyer, is in it a lot who is a good character. Season 6 is going to be the last one, probably out next year."

So after watching a couple of episodes of Better Call Saul after Breaking Bad we gave up on it but we're going to take advice and give it another go. Any thoughts ?
