Hermit Road I agree a lot people knowingly knowing what was going on and keeping schtum. Like Saville. As I posted before a lot of people in high places involved in this shit. I'd like to see a full enquiry but it won't happen.

"Hermit Road 8:23 Sun May 31 Andy doesn’t come out of it very well! Basically witnesses giving testimony against him on air! If slander, you’d think he might sue Netflix! Also Epstein didn’t commit suicide"

"I've started 'Little Fires Everywhere' on Prime but I'm struggling with my antipathy towards 'Mia'. What a defensive, miserable bitch. I'm hoping her back story turns up soon to explain it all so I can warm to the series a bit more. Otherwise I'll bail."

So have any of you given Mr Mercedes a go yet after my recommendation? Well worth it if you're stuck for something to get into.

Apologies fellas but I can't find the documentaries thread so I'll just place this here. Sky have a documentaries section now and there is some good stuff on there. Also on You Tube I've stumbled across a guy called The Modern Martial Artist and watched a few of his videos talking through famous fights like Ali v Frazier and Foreman v Moorer etc. Interesting to see how he talks through each round showing various strategies which when you don't know much about boxing is quite fascinating. Worth watching.

The missis has got us watching the Epstein thing. There were a lot of people with filthy hands enabling him to abuse those girls. Some of them were on the documentary pretending they were innocent bystanders. The artist who took pictures of her 12 year old sister naked was a sick fucker who should be locked up herself. Haven't got to the 2008 case yet.

"Just watched 404 code with Mays in. I mean clearly not amazing, but I like him and Stephen Graham and was an easy 3 hours worth if tv. Both chaps for whom I'd give any programme a go if they're in them."

"Swiss - Funny enough, I was tempted to say that Danny Mays was the exception. I like him, makes me laugh. If he wasn't in it I would have definitely binned it early doors."

Just finished watching Epstein in Netflix. I know we had a thread on this but can't be arsed to find it. All I can say is he must have been able or even still could posthumously compromise some seriously powerful people. The 2008 Florida deal was unbelievable. Suicide...no way

"Swiss - Yea suppose so, I got mixed up as 80's stuff being played. As for it being 'good' nah, it was awful really with shocking acting, but as I said watchable."

Manuel The flashbacks were early 2000s. I thought White Lines was good fun. Sort of It's All Gone Peter Tong meets El Dorado. I liked El Dorado.

"Yea, won't bother with Lilly Hammer. You can't commit to 36 episodes of something that is just ok, at best. I suppose some are tv addicts that will watch anything."

"White lines = eldarado with drugs. Shit. Lilly Hammer ..great ? No. Springsteen's make is so hammy. Harmless watch all the same. A much better option would be, Barrry"

"Same, thought white lines was okish, just about watchable. I started lillyhammer, gave up after episode 2. Thought it was absolute dog shit, same with queen of the south."

"Watched the new Netflix's White Lines, it's pretty crap with shocking acting, but somehow still watchable, probably because it's set in Ibiza with plenty of flashbacks to the 80's etc. Only the one series too. Thinking about giving Lily Hammer a go, looks like it could be good but have never heard of anyone talking about it much (a few people on this thread aside)?"

I thought season one of Ozark was excellent. Season 2 started to really drag in the middle and by the end it was so relentlessly depressing for all the characters I've kind of given with watching season 3

"The Last Dance is good, if you like massively OTT American histrionics over a shit sport. Its interesting enough finding out about Michael Jordan and what a competitor he was, but fucking hell, talk about over dramatising events. Still, we followed suit post 96..... AGUEEERRRROOOOOOO"

Just finished 3 seasons of Mr Mercedes which I recommend. I thought it was very good. Lots of fucked up stuff going on.

Hermit... yeah I noticed seasons 3 and 4 are in a new college in kansas IIRC?? Half way through season 2 ... superb viewing... have to say the 100 bloke brawl v Mississippi Delta will live long in my memory... fair play all those that joined in and helped their mates out ... made the old Sunday morning league dust ups of old look tame!!
