Not a massive fan of this sport. Seems everyone forgets the rules when on the pitch and give away stupid penalties. One thing thoug I'm pretty sure it was meant to be played in 30C temperatures. Those big guys will be collapsing in this heat.

Fuck me that ws an epic slug fest. South Africa being beaten at their own game is quite something. Loved the crowd belting out Zombie at the end.

"Poor performance last nightie did get going in the last 10-15 but will get smashed by better teams unless we tighten up. All the pointless kicking was going back to the Eddie Jones era, boring, boring rugby. We are lucky that we are in the easy side of the draw. Going Saturday which should be a easy victory but I don't expect too much. South Africa will win the WC ,I have no doubt."

Ron. The commentator just said 'Argentinas defence held out there'. The bloke is pissed as a fart

"Browno22 10:57 Sun Sep 17 I reckon its because that’s how you say it! Manus Laberschagne has said so in interviews, but has accepted English speaking commentators saying it incorrectly. Nick Mullins is the best commentator in the business for any sport."

"We are such an unambitious turgid team to watch, It would be just about acceptable if we had a dominant pack but we don't. We'll lose to the first halfway decent team we meet probably by a wide margin."

"Fucking hell. It’s almost as if Borthwick has dragged 15 fat blokes out the boozer, given them an England shirt, and said ‘go on lads’. Absolute dogshit being served up tonight."

Why is the commentator calling Labuschagne - LA BER SKAGNEY? surely that is the main point of his job to be able to pronounce names?

I expect the officials to be neutral otherwise they are not capable of doing their job properly. Whether they can do their jobs properly and fairly is another matter…..but we are obviously talking about officials who are weaker in character from bitter nations to not be able to control their emotions and keep sport on a level playing field. Amazing how many multiple nations heads we live rent free in…..
