Champions league QF

Bayern v Inter
Arsenal v Real
Barcelona v Dortmund
PSG v Villa

4 decent ties, the top two look the closest with not much in the odds. Hopefully some entertaining games that will save me spending the evenings searching for something to watch.

Does anyone give a shit and be watching?

Manchester United losing 1-0 in Lyon with another clanger from Onana.

Spurs 1-1 at home to Frankfurt.

Rangers 0-0 with Bilbao but down to 10 men.

But if so fair enough... Shame he's now as shit at them as he is at everything
Ah, there's the little dig, I bet you've been dying to say that :-) But yea you weren't wrong, we need so much better than this sideways/backwards fucking toff.

So three of the second legs next week look pretty much dead in the water, not great for the 'neutral'. PSG look scary right now.

See how Spurs and Manu fare tonight.

He's a very good player but he got massively hyped up last year when he scored 17 goals before Xmas, playing as a false 9.

Let's not forget as well that he's still only 21. Pirlo wasn't even a 1st team regular at that age, let alone controlling games. If Bellingham improves as much as Rice has since he was 21 then he'll be some player.

He did actually take a few in his last season with us. I remember a lot of people moaning about it as it seemed Moyes was just allowing him to do whatever he liked. If he'd stayed with us I'm sure he'd have taken a lot more, although maybe not as well as he does now. It seems pretty obvious that Arsenal practice a lot at set pieces, given how many goals they get from them.

For the record Rice took 19 corners and 6 free kicks for us that year.
I stand corrected!

Have seemed to realise that having Messi MBappe & Neymar means you have 8 men when the other team has the ball
Much better team now
Ah ok. Thanks for correcting me.

And yes, totally agree..... PSG have learnt that you don't need a mega star to be a mega team. Often it holds you back.

PSG's recruitment has been superb and they now have a blend of young and old players and the mix is perfect. Dembele now out of the shadows of big names is playing the best football of his life.

Let's just pray for an early Madrid goal and a red card for Arsenal and then follows a dreadful night for Arsenal so all these gobby Gooners can slither back to Arsenal TV and carry on their incessent moaning. The new breed of Arsenal fan are massive cunts. I know old school Gooners who cannot stand their own support (or majority of it).

Then next step is for PSG to win it by beating Madrid in the final.

Nice and tidy.

Fantastic free kicks. Meanwhile JWP the specialist has yet to do anything other than spank it into the wall for us

Arteta is playing Rice in a more advanced role his free kicks and corners are the best in the business and bloody good luck to him it's just a shame that we couldn't keep him happy with better players around him.

2 great free kicks from Rice,  I expected more from Real Madrid though.

Those free kicks by Rice were awesome!

In a way, I'm gutted he never stayed, or we even held onto him until his contract ran out.
Did we spend the Rice money wisely? Did it improve the team and did we go on to greater things?

Two great fee kicks, I look forward to him hanging on to his ability when we re-sign him in 2033 when his legs have gone and he needs to top up his pension.
