English-Mustard is too much of a liability to get sent off the table for being to fiery. Drinker-water would be a calming influence instead.

JWP, Soucek, Guido. Start with 2 or more of them = a battering.  Start with 2 of them = a  clear loss. All we can hope for is Potter subbing them a lot earlier ( he now has another option or 2 with the signings, I doubt he will start one let alone both of them) because any of the 3 like with Paqueta, their energy and strength drops drastically after 60 mins.  I remember back when reaching my mid 30s, and me legs had gone ( days of Queen Victoria / Cholmondley-Warner ) , I could compete ok at 1st team level first 45-60 mins but only because I was busting a gut just to keep up with some of the younger oppositions. I would be subbed off ( if lucky ) 45-70 mins to get fresh legs on. Ok only intermediate football but principles are the same and why Potter frustrates so much. Got Potts, Orford, even Irvine and now Earthy. Get em on, stops the retreating deep that is a symptom of losing or getting overrun in midfield. Its basic tactical sense and in game management.  

We need the Greek to start against Wood and have a stormer too. We will likely still lose but at least compete.  

Soon as we catch sight of JWP starting though, resignation to our fate is sure to kick in.  Gibbs White, Luiz and Anderson will have lots of time and space.   The thought of Kilman trying to compete aerially is another nightmare. Chris Wood goals guaranteed or Hudson Odoi and others running thru unchallenged to tap in 

In short, no confidence of anything with this manager. We need a new one I suspect even with new recruits coming in

Even swapping back in Kilman doesn't solve the problem for us and neither will two new rapid rat catchers in midfield. 

I can't understand why Potter hasn't been screaming out for X2 new Centre Backs who can actually defend properly.
