you're just being disingenuous at this stage, no I wouldn't be happy with China being the dominate world player, but I don't think it warrants invading allies and sovereign nations to dent their trading power. You'd have to be a cretin to believe otherwise

You do realise that the french do exactly the same thing with the English Channel?

A body of water much closer to our hearts.  How much worry do you have over them calling it La Manche?  Is it more or less than what the Americans, or I, call the Gulf of America?

Tell me exactly what you're talking about in regards to China and the Panama Canal?Chinese companies operate in ports at the ends of the canal after they legally bid for the rights to do so but so do U.S. and Taiwanese companies in bigger numbers75% of canal use is the US. while China is .21% of it's traffic.

What exactly is it that means US should seize the canal?

China is the biggest user of the Suez Canal by the way, should US seize that to?

I listened to his speech on LBC - it was was crazy but to be fair to him he did say they had listened to the tapes and they had a good idea of what caused the crash.

probably not dwarfs but something around ATC capability.

And aside from Greenland, what other things are you so worried about? I'm genuinely interested.
if Trump is willing to attack an ally in the name of "national security" then it will probably be the end to the trans atlantic alliance and a threat to world peace. It's a land grab, same as Panama canal would be, its more to do with his ego than concerns about Russia or China, his ridiculous renaming of the Gulf Of Mexico should tip you off about that

What a shock, the BBC going all negative on Brexit. Still, the usual suspects piss is still being sufficiently boiled so clouds n silver linings.

Think the yanks are looking at Greenland strategically seeing as it's closer to America than it is to Denmark. Better off in their hands rather than the Chinese or Russians.

Looks like Guantanamo is going to be getting busy again.

So there will undoubtedly be others within the South Yorkshire police force, who were also aware of this latest revelation, I'd guess even when it was going on, who would rather see the two perpetrators leave quietly and that would be that?

As well as a period of many years, where some of  those amongst them who did want to do the right and proper thing, quit or were forced out of the police service, for daring to want to do more about the systematic raping of vulnerable minors?

But it was all because they were underfunded and stretched?

Council tax bills will be out soon. Be lovely to wake up in Rotherham, (I know, I'm stretching it a bit here), to find out it's another 5% increase and then when you see the broken down bit, most of that is for increased police costs.

Still, if you're angry about any of this you're a gammon racist.

And Trump, it was all quite funny the first time round, this time he's dangerous, he doesnt seem to care about how he appears now there's no reelection holding him back, and there's no one left to tell him "no" when he was an incredibly bad idea.

His conversation this week with the Danish Prime Minister hes made it crystal clear he's actually serious about all this shit, are there any Trump supporters among you they don't openly support this shit? there must be one or two of you surely??

What is it that he's serious about that is making you so worried?
I assume you're playing dumb but just in case, his rhetoric about annexing allies territory he's deems important to national security for the main part.

All the nonsense Americans gave France over the Iraq war, freedom fries etc, and how do they thank Denmark for supporting them and losing more people per capita in the war than anyone? threatening to punish or even attack them if they don't give in to Trump's demands

Read a long article by Trump's ghost writer for "Art Of The Deal" recently,  If you want to get a measure for then give it a go, you obviously wont though

Either that or deliberately compromised. The real question is why are they former officers? Was this already known and covered up?
One is in his sixties and has retired. I dunno about the other one.

I suspect their names will be interesting to the public, because if they are names of a Pakistani origin the public will understandably think, 'yet another cover up'.
He's in his 60's now but when and why did he "retire"?
